🛣️ Great leaders don’t wait for resources—they create them💡 What if I told you a single man built a 100-km road connecting 3 states, without a single rupee from the government? Sounds impossible, right? But that’s exactly what Armstrong Pame, an IAS officer from Manipur, did. This wasn’t just any road. It was a lifeline, connecting remote villages to schools, hospitals, and markets. People who had been cut off from basic necessities for decades suddenly had hope, all because Armstrong refused to sit back and wait for funds. Instead of red tape, he chose action. Instead of waiting for permission, he made it happen. He rallied the local community, crowdfunded support, and personally led the construction of what is now called the “People’s Road.” Every stone laid tells a story of determination, courage, and a belief that one person can change the world. 👉🏻Leadership isn’t about power; it’s about purpose. It’s not about what you have, it’s about what you’re willing to do.💡 In 2015, Armstrong Pame was honored as India’s Most Eminent IAS Officer. But his real reward? Watching lives change, one road at a time. #ArmstrongPame #MiracleManOfManipur #LeadershipInAction #CommunityPower #Inspiration #MakeADifference #India #linkedin #jobs
Great leaders Modiji /Gadkariji connecting all states of India by road with Gov. funding/'tax payers money but never say They have done ,they are doing ,they will do But it should look like we are paying from our own pocket just like Free ration ???
I know this gentleman....grew up studying under the light of burning hay, scored 92% in 12th, went to St. Stephen's, scored zeroes in the first two class tests (call it adaptation period), still passed out with flying clours, secured Group B in first UPSC attempt, secured Group A (IAS) the following year. Does that tell you all the grit of a true man right there? All you fact checkers, if you want real facts, go see the road for yourselves, talk to the people who laboured. Sitting behind keyboards won't get you real and all facts. Regardless, be sure of unparalled hospitality, when you visit, if you ever visit.
This is a shame that our government can't provide us our basic needs...
While we can glorify this COMMENDABLE contribution, it’s not the prerogative of an individual to take up financial responsibility on his shoulders while the central government ignores North east India.
What an inspiring story of true leadership and community spirit! Armstrong Pame's initiative underscores the power of grassroots mobilization and the impact of innovative problem-solving. It's a testament to how vision, coupled with collective effort, can overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges. This example also highlights the importance of local engagement and the potential of crowdfunding as a tool for social change. Kudos to Armstrong for setting a remarkable precedent for public service and community-driven development. This is a reminder that real change often starts with one determined individual willing to make a difference. #Empowerment #CommunityLeadership #InnovativeSolutions

2wFACT CHECK When NewsMobile checked the claim, we found out the some of the information is not true. IAS officer Armstrong Pame popularly known as Manipur’s ‘Miracle Man’ built a 100-kilometre road connecting Manipur to Nagaland and Assam through community initiative. The project began in 2012, with him and his family pooling in over Rs 4 lakh. But that was not enough, so he made a Facebook page asking people to chip in. After starting the page, he received international fundings also. The community-built Tamenglong-Haflong road was completed in 2013. For his efforts, he was conferred with India’s Most Eminent IAS Officer Award in 2015. This proves that the information that the road was built by “his” money is not true.
