Investing in yourself is always worth it. I recently completed a Detection Engineering module @ TryHackMe and it's expanded my cybersecurity skillset in so many ways. I feel more confident than ever in my ability to outsmart the bad guys by proactively detecting and responding to threats. The Detection Engineering module equipped me to: -Break down attack patterns and identify detection opportunities. -Translate threats into precise Sigma rules. -Utilize Aurora EDR to uncover suspicious activity. -Design SOAR workflows for efficient problem-solving. Finally, it's official, I received recognition for passing CISSP-ISSAP from ISC2. Achieving this credential has been particularly challenging due to a lack of related content/resources and not many certified to provide clear guidance. Enabling security-centric architecture is a necessity in the current day and age keeping into consideration the borderless expansion of digital information. This certification covers all the topics necessary to foster security-oriented architecture keeping business requirements aligned.
