📝Leadership is about positive influence not intimidation. 💠KEY takeaways from this post are: 🍁William Arthur wood once stated, "Leadership is based on inspiration, not domination; on cooperation, not intimidation." ✔️A key difference between the two is that a boss’s authority comes from their position. In contrast, a leader’s authority comes from their ability to influence others. ✔️In the past ⌚ a leader was a boss. Today's leaders must be partners with their people... they no longer can lead solely based on positional power. ✔️In order to be a leader and foster a positive company culture, one must give a sense of autonomy to the employees. ✔️Employees who feel they can act with autonomy in their day-to-day work environment tend to have stronger job performance, higher job satisfaction, and greater commitment to the organization. ✔️Intimidation leads to a toxic work culture and weak followers. A leader's job is to create competent future leaders. Video credit: Respective owner #leadershipmindset #employees #autonomy Jandeep Singh
Furthermore, positive leadership influence contributes to the formation of a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. When leaders foster an environment that celebrates diversity and values every team member's unique strengths, the result is a rich tapestry of ideas and perspectives. This inclusivity fuels innovation, as a diverse group of individuals collaborates to tackle complex problems with a broad spectrum of insights. NBT GLOBAL GROWTH

Leadership that relies on positive influence rather than intimidation fosters a culture of trust, respect, and empathy. This approach not only enhances team collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving but also creates a sustainable and thriving organizational culture. Ultimately, leaders who prioritize positive influence lay the groundwork for long-term success, leaving a lasting impact on both individuals and the broader team. NBT GLOBAL GROWTH
NBT GLOBAL GROWTH Thank you for coming out with this post, it was true and everyone should have this leadership mindset even not all people are the leaders. I always support the statement "Leaders don't have to be smart, instead, they gather smart people into a team". How is this important? A true leader leads the team, but at the same time, a leader gives opportunities to the team members to explore their ideas, to take different actions to achieve the organization's vision, missions, core values, and ensure overall success including, people. I love the video mentioned, "Leaders don't say "I", but "We". Not all people can be good leaders, but at least, having some leadership mindsets can improve overall development.
Throughout my career and across various companies, I've observed a consistent focus on profit-driven agendas. After analyzing numerous interviews, a common thread emerges – companies prioritize an employee's sales and revenue contributions. Surprisingly, HR seems more interested in professionals capable of sales, leading companies to shift from team-oriented models to individual contributions. While these aspects may seem appealing on LinkedIn and YouTube, where a few likes define success, the reality might be more nuanced. Leadership often seems devoid of genuine feelings, reduced to the singular focus on profit. The concern arises when employee salaries surpass the profits contributed to the company. This raises questions about the sustainability of such arrangements and the true value derived from higher-paid employees.
A leader's positive influence also extends to the emotional well-being of their team. By prioritizing empathy and understanding, leaders create a support system that acknowledges the human side of work. Recognizing achievements, providing constructive feedback, and being attuned to the personal needs of team members contribute to a positive and uplifting work environment. This, in turn, enhances overall job satisfaction and employee well-being.NBT GLOBAL GROWTH
