We’ve submitted an updated business plan to Ofwat. This follows the submission of our ambitious PR24 plan last October, where we proposed record investment and a total expenditure of £18.7bn for 2025 to 2030 to address our customers’ priorities. Since then, we’ve discussed our plans extensively with regulators and key stakeholders and our updated plan reflects this engagement. What’s new? We have updated our business plan to deliver an increase in total expenditure of £1.1bn on projects that benefit the environment. This update will take our committed spend to £19.8bn in the next regulatory period from £18.7bn. Chris Weston, CEO of Thames Water, said: “Our business plan focuses on our customers’ priorities. As part of the usual ongoing discussions relating to PR24, we’ve now updated it to deliver more projects that will benefit the environment.
