I asked someone as to what motivated him. He said ‘failure’. Fascinating. Failure has been a great driver of achievements.##OfficeTruths
First Attempt in Learning (FAIL) Interesting one.
Failure stings....there’s no sugarcoating it. A wise well-wisher once told me, 'Mastering failure is a skill...analyzing what went wrong, understanding the why, and sketching out a better plan for next time.' It’s not just about avoiding the same mistakes...it’s about building a sharper, stronger version of yourself with every stumble. Failure isn’t the end of the story....it’s the plot twist that makes the success even more epic. Let's learn from it, grow with it, and let it push us closer to the victory waiting ahead...
This is true wisdom and thank you for sharing it Nathan SV. I wrote a post sometime back on a similar topic *** No one can motivate you unless you choose to be motivated *** Mentors, leaders, and gurus are like lighthouses—they guide you when you struggle, offering direction and wisdom. However, the drive to follow that guidance and ignite your own motivation must come from within. Motivation isn’t something that just happens; it’s something you seek out and believe in. When you actively pursue it, you create the momentum to achieve your goals.
Perseverance despite obstacles leading to failures is what his positive attitude (motivation) speaks a lot about. And this adds strength to the dictum “ attitude determines altitude “.
The push that one experiences when the chips are down, is of a different kind altogether. Only if one realises it and takes it as a motivation to come back better and stronger from within.
one of my favorite couplet, Couldn't Resist sharing 🙂 फलक को ज़िद है जहां, बिजलियाँ गिराने की। हमें भी ज़िद है वहीं, आशियाँ बनाने की। The heavens are determined to strike down with lightning. But I am just as determined to build my nest right there.
#Nathan, I look forward to reading your office truths first thing when I log. Each day a new learning and a new perspective of expansive thinking. I find failure to be a powerful teacher, revealing paths we might otherwise overlook. For me, it’s a catalyst that fuels growth, resilience, and eventual success.
Failure truly has a unique way of pushing us to achieve more than we ever thought possible.
Every failure comes with learning. Every such learning adds to our experience. Every experience we gains makes us confident. With confidence,we get motivated. Accept failure with grace should be the attitude.

4dThis friend of yours truly understands the essence of failure, Nathan SV Failure isn’t about us - it’s about a task, a project, or a moment, not life itself. We might lose time, money, or opportunities when we fail, but we should never lose our self-esteem, confidence, or resolve. That’s where the real strength lies. Failure isn’t the opposite of success; it’s a part of it. 🌟 😎 Powerful thought - thank you for sharing! 🙂
