This year, we're particularly excited about our ongoing efforts in two groundbreaking clinical trials focusing on endometriosis—a painful and prevalent condition affecting 1 in 9 women in Australia. The trials are exploring the potential of medicinal cannabis to provide relief by investigating its safety, tolerability, and effectiveness. 🔬 One of the trials we are involved with is actively recruiting participants in Victoria! ➖ New grant ➖ Emyria (ASX:EMD) is pleased to announce that it has received, in partnership with the The University of Western Australia (UWA), a $499,411 Innovation Grant from the Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Seed Fund to advance its proprietary MDMA Analogue Program. The FHRI Seed Fund provides Western Australian innovators with non-dilutive funding to facilitate projects with high commercial potential. This grant directly supports Emyria’s mission developing, applying and testing new therapies for mental health and selected neurodegenerative diseases. Initial funds will be used to progress a world-leading program targeting the enhancement of Parkinson’s disease treatment Associate Prof. Matt Piggott, a leading expert on MDMA-inspired drug discovery, will direct the medicinal chemistry and screening program Emyria CEO Michael Winlo said: “We are thrilled to receive this substantial grant from the West Australian Department of Health in partnership with UWA.
