Just wrapped up an incredible two days with the Convergint Global Accounts Team, Joe Morone, Author-The Smart Sales Method Morone (Author of The Smart Sales Method), Chris McCurdy and the Insight2Profit Team. Huge thanks to Tom Jacobson for leading us through this session (which was a great refresher for me) on expanding the pie, improving our BATNA, and learning & mastering the 11 Mind Bends (amongst many other things). More importantly, we focused on enhancing how we communicate with our customers to consistently achieve win-win outcomes. Our goal remains clear: to be our customers' best service provider! 🎉 Celebrating my Convergint work anniversary today! 🎉 Reflecting on these past 7 years working at Convergint and in the #physicalsecurity industry, my favorite V&B comes to mind: "I am Convergint, I own my position on the team." I started at Convergint years ago as a fresh college graduate which gave me the opportunity to learn the #securityintegration business while owning my own development along the way. I’ve come to see integration as a dynamic blend of IT, hardware, service and construction demands which keeps this job fresh and interesting every day. Along the way, Convergint has supported my personal journey as well, as I have lived in three different states and worked directly with four different teams over these years. While V&B #7, "We believe in balanced lives", can sometimes include long days at work to meet customer needs, the flexibility & and collegiality that the entire organization practices creates a strong support system that I have been able to lean on over the years. A special thanks goes out to Dan Moceri. Even before I started at Convergint, Dan found time to spend a half day with me and the Milwaukee School of Engineering Entrepreneurship club, explaining his experience founding Convergint ,and the importance of #Colleagues & #Culture. From the beginning, he made it clear though his words & actions that Convergint is made up of Colleagues and regardless of role we can and will support one another. Also, shoutout to Grace Li who is an extraordinary leader & mentor. I’m proud to be part of Convergint’s Global Cloud & Datacenter team. With Grace's leadership, our team’s success has grown drastically in the last 4 years, and her personal mentorship has allowed me to grow in confidence to support my customers on a global basis. As we commonly say on our team, the Datacenter industry moves at 3 times the pace of normal construction, and her coaching has allowed me to make a bigger impact each and every day. Here's to all of #ConvergintNation, and many more years of innovation, collaboration, and making a #DailyDifference!
