Can’t agree more with what Haitham Mattar Managing Director Middle East, Africa and South West Asia at IHG Hotels & Resorts just shared at the Arabian Travel Market Sustainable travel is more than eco travel. Is about further considerations such as: - cultural and heritage preservation. - ecosystems preservation, fauna and flora etc. - reducing poverty and food waste. And this is so completely aligned with what I’ve been sharing on luxury. For luxury this is not a good to have or the ideal scenario. For luxury this is the ONLY scenario and approach. If a luxury brand doesn’t do this they simply can’t call themselves luxury. This commitment, ethics and values are intrinsic to luxury.

Absolutely - it’s so much more than those things that are visible - beautiful rooms, great service, quality food... it’s also about what´s been done "behind the scenes" and all the impact such behaviour has been creating.

Agreed. My first notes about Solaro Capri Gin started with environmental and CULTURAL sustainability as a foundation and am happy to see that after all these years it’s still the reason we do what we do (aside from making everyone happy with Italy’s most refined gin :-) )
