PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research Scientific Director Johan Rockström summarises the state of climate science in 15 min. It's a very dire picture, and yet the solutions to help us get over the #climatecrisis are clear: 1. rapid transition away from fossil fuels, 2. transition towards circular business models, 3. transition towards healthy diets from sustainable food systems, 4. halting the loss of nature and scaling the regeneration and restoration of marine systems, soils, forests and wetlands. While each of us can do their part through personal decisions on the first three elements, we need more and better global cooperation to work on especially the fourth solution package.
