안녕하세요, 여러분! 🚀 Day 13 of 30 Days Cloud Challenge ☁️: Seamless File Transfer Between S3 Buckets with AWS DataSync 📂🚀 Today, I used AWS DataSync to transfer files between two S3 buckets effortlessly. Here’s a quick breakdown of the steps: Step 1: Created two S3 buckets, source & destination, and loaded data into the source bucket. 📦 Step 2: Configured an IAM role for DataSync with permissions for both buckets to enable secure access. 🔑 Step 3: Set up a DataSync task in the DataSync Dashboard, selecting source and destination. 🚀 Step 4: Specified the IAM role in the task configuration to ensure DataSync could access the buckets. ⚙️ Step 5: Executed the task and monitored the transfer process in the console, confirming all files were successfully copied. ✔️ Using Amazon CloudWatch has significantly enhanced my ability to manage cloud resources effectively. Exploring the practical applications of AWS services like DataSync has been incredibly insightful. This seamless process ensures that updates to serverless functions are deployed efficiently and with minimal downtime. What I Learned: 💡 The importance of automation in managing serverless function deployments. 💡 Best practices for versioning and deploying Lambda functions using AWS tools. 💡 The efficiency and reliability that AWS CodeDeploy brings to the deployment process. Step-by-Step Setup: 1.Created a Lambda Function: Developed and deployed a Lambda function to handle specific tasks. 2.Published a New Lambda Version: Published a new version of the Lambda function to capture the latest updates. 3.Set Up CodeDeploy: Created a CodeDeploy application and deployment group tailored for Lambda deployments. 4.Defined Deployment Specifications: Crafted an AppSpec file to outline the deployment process and specify the target Lambda version. 5. Deployed the Lambda Version: Initiated the deployment using CodeDeploy and monitored the process to ensure a smooth transition. HELLO LINKS!! Embarking My 30 days of Cloud Challenge!! 💫 Day21: Amazon Neptune STEPS: ->Choose Neptune in AWS Management Console Navigate to the AWS Management Console. Select Amazon Neptune from the list of services. ->Create a Neptune DB Cluster Click on *Create database Choose your preferred configuration for the DB cluster. Click Create database to initiate the process. ->Configure Network Settings Ensure your Neptune cluster is within a VPC. ->Set Up IAM Roles Create or choose an existing IAM role with necessary permissions. ->Load Data into Neptune Use Amazon S3 for bulk loading your data into Neptune. ->Start Querying with Gremlin/ SPARQL Connect to your Neptune endpoint using a graph query language of your choice. Execute queries to interact with your data and gain insights. ->Monitor and Maintain. 🚀 Day 17 of my #30DaysCloudChallenge: Automating File Management with AWS Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB! Today, I developed a system to streamline file handling by uploading files to an S3 bucket and storing their metadata in DynamoDB. Here's how it was done: Step 1: Created an S3 bucket to store files securely, ensuring it had the necessary permissions for the Lambda function to upload data. Step 2: Built an AWS Lambda function to accept file inputs, extract metadata such as name, type, and size, and prepare it for storage in DynamoDB. Step 3: Set up a DynamoDB table to save the metadata, including attributes like filename, file type, file size, and timestamp for easy tracking. Step 4: Configured IAM role permissions for the Lambda function to interact securely with both S3 and DynamoDB. Step 5: Tested the solution with sample file uploads to confirm that metadata was successfully stored in DynamoDB and files were uploaded to S3.
