Nanoleaf’s Post

🎉 We're thrilled to be an early launch partner for Google's Home APIs and can't wait to see the innovative ways developers will use this new platform. We've been working closely with the Google team behind the scenes to build more exciting and seamless smart home experiences for our users - like creating the ultimate movie night at home: lights, movies and ambience all at once. This (and much more) to come!

At #GoogleIO this morning we shared that we've re-envisioned Google Home as a platform for developers  - all developers, not just those that build smart home devices - with the launch of Home APIs and Hubs. And we have some amazing early launch partners like ADT, LG Electronics, Eve, Volvo Cars, Yale (ASSA ABLOY Group), Aqara, Wiz, Cynq GE, Tuya Smart and Nanoleaf already building ground breaking experiences and amazing apps. With this launch I cannot wait to see all the future innovations that developers and partners will build into their apps and experiences around the Home! If you're a mobile developer and would like to start building with these APIs the waitlist is now open! A huge kudos to Matt Van Der Staay, Aditi Misra, Faisal Feroz, Taylor Lehman, Jeannie Zhang, Jen King Kilpatrick, Alex Sakhartchouk, Gayathri Subramanian, Gaofeng Huang, John Welsh and so many others working to make this a reality for partners and developers!
