Had my recent experience with LLAMA 3 for an ABSA and ticket tagging task. While the expanse of domains that it touches in its responses is indeed impressive (thanks to the trillion tokens), this beafy model does require some taming to yield consistent responses. This is where I (again) realised the impact of zero and few shot prompting to squeeze valuable responses. I strongly feel prompting will still be one of the driving factors in the usability of such models for downstream tasks and an open area for investigation. PS: Offcourse I did not use fine tuning yet and was running this on a CPU with modest configurations. #llama #llama3 #meta #artificialintelligence
