Hi everyone. It's Paul Kelly here from the Enabled Heidner team. In this video, I'm going to show you some of the recent enhancements we've made to filters within in Central. Filters are a key component in Central as they allow you to create logical groups of devices which you can then target for with Rules. Maybe to deploy some features or deploy some automation. You can find the filters on the left hand navigation under Configuration and Filters. And here you will see all the filters available within your service organization. You do have the option to filter on this Feudal, so if you want to see filters that are just available to you, these will show you the default filters along with any filters that you've created. You can see filters from lower level users, so if you have maybe IT admins that log into their own environments within your end central environment, you can see any filters that they've created at their own levels. From here as well you can see filters that are created. At the same level you are level above it you have your own on premise in central server and you have just created the system level or you can see filters that are available in the dropdown menu as well. To create a new filter, you can click on Add. You might want to create a filter for all your Dell laptops. We're going to pop in Dell lap tops here, and we're going to choose device. I'm going to say device class or class. We're going to choose Equals To. And we'll choose laptops, Windows, And then we'll put in a second line to our filter just to narrow it down to Dell devices. So we'll choose hardware, we'll choose system manufacturer. I'll say contains because I'm never sure if it's Dell or Dell incorporated. And now we have a filter that shows us all the Dell devices, Dell laptops within our environment. Now previously I could make this filter available to everyone or just myself, but now I have 1/3 option that also allows me to just make this filter available to users that are created at the DSO level as well. Similarly, when we drop down from the service organization level to a customer level, again we can click down to Configuration and Filters and again we can see the different options for filters available here as well when we create a filter at the customer level. Maybe I want to find all my Celtic. Macbooks. I can choose a device, I can choose class. I'm going to say equals to. In this case, I'm going to choose Workstation Mac. And now I have the option to decide whether I want to make this filter available to everyone, just me, or just the users created at the customer level. So if I want to create filters specifically for a particular customer, I can do so so that they're only visible to that customer then.
