Who hasn’t said, “I want to do this or that before I die.”? Are you committed to making it happen? Your chances of doing it are practically nil unless you are clear about what you want. As the old saying goes, “If you don’t know where you want to go, it doesn’t matter which route you take.” Don’t be one of those people! Here's an indirect and fulfilling path to discovering your life calling. Live Intentionally. Our brains are designed for efficiency because efficiency burns fewer calories - which helps with our survival. In seeking efficiencies, our brain will fall into the autopilot trap - because it's easy. You will never discover your life calling if you're living on autopilot. You have to become intentional. The fastest path I've discovered to become intentional starts with awareness, followed by a simple question. We take specific daily actions that are inevitable and part of life (e.g., showering and brushing our teeth). Before I execute an action (as mundane as brushing my teeth), "Why am I doing this?" This simple question illuminates what you're about to do, and even if the action is the same as one you've taken thousands of times before, you're being intentional. You're not just going with the flow. Bonus: Ask these two questions next: 1. Is there an alternative way to do what I'm about to do? (Brush with the opposite hand, stand somewhere else in the bathroom, brush your teeth in the shower, etc.) 2. Am I willing to experiment with one of the alternatives? When you become intentional, you seize agency and open yourself up to discovering your life calling. Ready to transform your life and discover your true calling? Sign up for "The Art of Reinvention" Newsletter now and start your journey towards intentional living and self-discovery. Link at the top of the post. #midlife #reinvention #intention

Rediscovery and reinvention Rediscovery and reinvention is a huge deal and rightfully so. Rediscovering ourselves and pursuing reinvention is a beautiful yet intricate journey that we should all take at multiple points throughout our lives. When I first came across the words reinventing oneself, I thought it meant starting from scratch. Forgetting our past self and throwing away everything we used to do or love out the window. I Find out later that I was wrong. It does not imply discarding ourselves or our passions. It simply means reshaping and improving our already existing self. It's all about taking a step back and making a deep inner evaluation of oneself. You delve into your soul and understand your values, passions, strengths and weaknesses. It's about questioning our beliefs, attitudes and behaviours and aligning those things with who we truly want to or wish to become. Here are some things you could do You could change careers, embark on a new hobby, refine your relationships, adopt healthier habits like replacing coffee for tea or simply reading more educational books. Every decision, every step we take towards this journey is a statement to our courage and inspiration.

Purpose is such an important aspect of life, a lot of people don’t feel fulfilled until they discover purpose. 🔸It’s important however to mention the purpose that I am talking about here is in reference to one of the two types of purpose, it’s a part of my teachings and precepts. 🔸There is: 1) Convenient Purpose: In this type of purpose you manufacture it, in the sense that it involves creating a purpose by finding a 'why' behind an activity. It's about making an activity meaningful by attaching a deeper significance to it. 2) Pre-destined purpose - In this type of you discover rather than manufacture or create. It will typically involve you uncovering a purpose that is believed to be preordained or naturally aligned with one's life path. This purpose is typically found through self-reflection, life experiences, or a sense of calling. ✅The purpose being discussed in this video is what I call the Convenient purpose, please take note. Hope you love this video, Feel Free to repost, if you love it🔥 Should I drop more videos? #purpose

Here is a thought at 5.32 am 🥹 Life is short so do what makes you happy. By happy I dont mean an impulsive and compulsive decision like spending money on skincare that you don’t need or buying expensive brand of clothes that will mean nothing to you in about a day or two. Here are some ideas: 1. Spend time in nature 2. Travel to a place that brings you peace 3. Build confidence by doing something terrifying but you know will help you grow 4. Ask yourself if you are not happy, what brings you joy and how can you have more joy in your life? 5. Get into the best shape of your life I did all 5 of those things lately. For building confidence I co-author with a business coach Jennifer Lara She has inspired me to get out of my comfort zone by sharing my story. Guess what? I have met some of her incredible authors in the book and there are no words to explain what level of perservance they have overcome and now experience joy in their life. They are teaching me lessons and how to rise above even when life seems hard sometimes. You deserve to be happy. Pre-Order Today! https://lnkd.in/g3n8kbNA
