Most #fundraising campaigns will be successful if they get these 3 things right: 1️⃣ Creativity that helps differentiate their brand positioning and voice. 2️⃣ Authentic messaging that deeply and emotionally resonates. 3️⃣ Knowledge of the values of their current supporters. But here's the tricky part: - The third step is the most important. - #Nonprofits so often overlook this step! - Time taken to understand values alignment -- it is foundational. __________
Interesting .... so how do you figure out the values of your current supporters? (Or is that your next post?)
Three great checks on content quality/reaonance. But probably also need a way to significantly increase impressions? I see way too many of my clients work hard to create great campaign content that gets a soul-crushing 3 likes on Instagram.
Thanks for this, Michelle! The other thing I would add is clarity about how fundriaising priorities fit into a long-term vision for the organization. It's hard to raise money or broaden your base if you can't explain the broader impact, even if there's clear alignment with current supporters.

1moThank you for pointing that out Michelle. Nothing is more important than understanding the values your donors and prospects hold dear to their heart, the things that inspire them and the dreams they have to change the world. Without knowing those things, you could have the best mission and the best messaging, but if it doesn't match up, it will fall on deaf ears.
