Murray McLauchlan’s Post

The NHS England Priorities and Operational Planning Guidance 2024/25 has recently been released and Steve Wightman, Commercial Director at The Access Group, shared his opinion about this #NHS publication: “The long-awaited publication of NHS England’s planning guidance gives some welcomed clarity to the ambitious productivity plans for 2024/2025. And with clear opportunities for digital and data to underpin many of the recommendations, it’s good to see the recommitment to strategic plans, such as ‘A plan for digital health and care’ and ‘Data Saves Lives’. Plus, further details on how the NHS can utilise the £3.4 billion technology investment from the Spring Budget to progress the levelling up agenda. We’ve seen first-hand how the use of integrated digital solutions can help providers breakdown the friction between healthcare boundaries, improve patient flow and reduce waiting times. A key part of our integrated care vision is an intelligent digital care record which combines multiple data sources in one place, giving you a real-time view of the record from various care settings. It’s vital that these examples are scaled up at a system-wide level as part of the plans to implement the guidance and help empower decision making based on the most reliable data.” Read the full guidance here: https://ow.ly/vAyW50RQyhu. #Health #Care #Healthcare #Patient #DigitalCare #NHSEngland #OperationalPlanning #DigitalHealth #DataSavesLives #HealthTech #IntegratedCare #PatientFlow #HealthcareIT #HealthcareInnovation #StrategicPlanning
