Humanitarian response attempts face many challenges and obstacles, but despite all these challenges, grassroots and social initiatives such as emergency rooms, hospices, and charity kitchens - with the support of philanthropists and some organizations - continue to provide food aid to many citizens exposed to hunger and diseases resulting from malnutrition. In the (A Corridor Saves a Soul) campaign, we repeat the call to donors, organizations and interested parties for more support, and to the Sudanese government to open corridors and facilitate procedures for the passage of aid, and to all parties to the conflict to facilitate passage, so that we avoid the catastrophe of famine. #A passage that saves a soul

In Sudan, nearly 5 million children have been forcibly displaced, torn from their homes by the relentless conflict. These young lives, once filled with hope and stability, are now marked by uncertainty and fear. Over 14 million children in Sudan urgently require humanitarian assistance, struggling to survive in dire conditions with limited access to food, clean water, shelter, and education. The scale of this crisis is staggering, but each of these numbers represents a child with dreams, potential, and the right to a safe and nurturing environment. We cannot turn a blind eye to their suffering. It's time to come together as a global community to provide the aid and support these children need. By raising awareness, donating to relief efforts, and advocating for peace, we can help restore hope and build a better future for the children of Sudan. Every action counts in making a difference. #SupportSudan #HelpTheChildren #KeepEyesOnSudan #EndConflict #WhatAboutSudan #SudanCrisis #StandWithSudan #HopeForTheFuture #TogetherForChange #PeaceUnitedGlobal

Imagine contracting a dangerous, potentially deadly disease and having no place to rest, recover or to receive medical care. This is the harsh reality for thousands of displaced people living in DR Congo and many other African countries that have been generously hosting millions of refugees for decades. An outbreak of mpox is threatening the lives of people who are already living in desperate conditions, displaced by conflict and lacking even basic necessities like safe shelter, clean water and medical care. Donate now to help prevent the spread of mpox and protect forcibly displaced people: https://bit.ly/3Xfqxfi

Many people are wondering: How can we help the people of Gaza when we can't go there or send aid because the borders are closed? But there's still a way we can make a difference if we truly want to help. We can donate money to help save lives, especially those of women, elderly, and children who are stuck in Gaza. Remember to be kind and compassionate, and not just watch videos of suffering people in Gaza without doing anything. We'll have to answer to Allah one day for our actions, so let's not ignore the oppression happening there. Muslims, let's use our strength to do something to help. It's not impossible to evacuate people from Rafah, a border town. There's a service called "coordination" run by a company called Hala Consulting and Tourism. They charge $5000 per person to help them leave Gaza. Some youngsters in Rafah want to leave and have started a campaign to raise money for this. You can donate to their campaign to help them pay for the coordination service. In short, you can help save lives by sponsoring their exit from Gaza. #On_World_Food_Day, I stand in solidarity with the people of Sudan who are suffering from food shortages, and with the children of my country, the future leaders, who are dying from hunger due to malnutrition and lack of food. I stand with the displaced and refugees of my country in camps both within and outside Sudan, and with those who rely on charitable kitchens to fill their hunger in a land rich with abundance. A salute of pride and resilience to the steadfast Sudanese people in the face of this crisis, and a heartfelt thank you to the charitable kitchens, civil society organizations, volunteers, and emergency teams across our beloved Sudan for your dedicated efforts for the sake of this people and this beautiful nation. No words or letters can truly express the value of your work and your contributions. I call on international and regional organizations to intensify their efforts and take urgent steps to address the crisis in Sudan. The issue of Sudan and its people must be given priority in all international forums, including the United Nations, with concrete and serious actions taken to contain this humanitarian disaster that has drained the country and its people. Peace to my beloved country 🇸🇩🍂🤎 #WorldFoodDay2024

At the risk of seemingly taking away from the gravity of what is happening on a humanitarian level in Gaza today, I feel the need to share my thoughts on this too as someone researching grassroots efforts in the MENA and their contributions to the UNSDGs. 🇱🇧I feel like a hypocrite reading the reports on the environmental and economical damage that the farms and the farmers in the South of Lebanon have endured in the past few months. It was only in September that I was full of optimism about the growing interest in the MENA in agriculture for food security and sustainability despite the economic challenges. Along with local and regional funds these projects are also supported by international donors from 🇪🇸🇫🇷🇺🇸🇳🇱 🇺🇳🇨🇭🇬🇧 🇪🇺. Although I am grateful that Australia 🇦🇺 has donated to assist with the displacement of the farmers from the South of Lebanon, I find it hard not to wonder!!! How exactly do the ‘super powers’ of the world call for and fund efforts to achieve the SDGs while at the same time support or even allow war and destruction as well as the use of White phosphorus which is an illegal weapon? Isn’t all this a futile viscous circle? Wouldn’t it be better if we didn’t destroy and used the money to build a harmonious developed and healthier world rather than constantly rebuilding? Just thoughts going through my ‘naive’ mind nowadays as I try to keep a lid on my anxiety and worry about my family in Lebanon, along with my disillusionment and disappointment at the state of our world today💔! #harmony #peaceandjusticeforall #unsdgs #hope #warisfutile #humanity #wecandobetter #thougtleadership
Beitelbaraka on Instagram: "78,000 people have been displaced from South Lebanon, and thousands of students are no longer able to resume their education because their schools are closed. In parallel, the ecocide is eradicating any hope for 60% of farmers to pursue their work. Support our families in the South by donating to beitelbaraka.org - South Lebanon Aid Program"
