Refreshing to continue to hear real founders who actually built 0 to billion dollar startup, be so humble, respectful of their co-founders and admittedly know their respective lanes in the startup organization. You can't conquer and divide when one of the founders can't deliver. You shouldn't work on your weaknesses, hire people around you who are experts at what they do. (and deliver) Also, some great information about startup boards. specifically, You need people who have been there.

I chose my startup over OpenAI. Sometimes, the road less traveled is not just a choice but a calling. Today, I want to share a pivotal decision in my journey: choosing Carvis.ai over OpenAI. It wasn't easy. On one side, the allure of OpenAI, a giant in AI research, offered a path filled with unparalleled learning opportunities. On the other, Carvis, my startup, promised a challenging yet rewarding adventure into the entrepreneurial world. Many advised me to take the route through OpenAI, absorb, learn, and then venture into my startup with a wealth of knowledge. But, the entrepreneurial spirit doesn't thrive on delay—it seeks the thrill of now. Choosing Carvis didn't come as the conventional wisdom. It's a leap into the vast unknown, driven by a belief in what my team and I can achieve. This isn't just about rejecting an opportunity; it's about embracing my startup's vision with all its risks and potential. I'm making my stance public here, not just as a declaration but as a commitment. A commitment to my decision, to Carvis, and to the belief that timing and conviction matter more than the safety nets of the giants. To everyone who shared their insights and gave me feedback, my deepest gratitude. Your perspectives were invaluable. And as I pave my path with Carvis, I am keenly aware that this post will serve as a milestone. A milestone I'll return to in the years ahead, not with regret, but hopefully, with pride and a trail of achievements behind me. For now, it's Carvis.ai. And it's full steam ahead. #Entrepreneurship #StartupJourney #DecisionMaking #Carvis #ThankYou

"Every great idea starts small." Looking at this picture of OpenAI’s first day, I can’t help but think about how far things have come. Seven years ago, this small group of people had no idea just how big their project would become. It’s a reminder that every big journey starts small. It’s not about figuring everything out from day one, but about having the passion and dedication to see things through. OpenAI is now transforming industries and how we interact with technology, but it all started in a room like this. To anyone working on something new, remember this: growth takes time, and every step forward matters. Stay curious, stay dedicated. #AI #Startups #Innovation #TechJourney #Persistence #OpenAI

From my father at the machine to searching disruptive frontline startups. We (@ Delin Ventures) are excited about the blue-collar / deskless space. But: Most SaaS companies in the space are "just" building "good-old" SaaS solutions like they were built 5-10 years ago for the white-collar space and tailoring them to frontline use cases. We would love to see more disruptive solutions, leveraging technology they could not have leveraged 5-10 years ago – yes, like AI, beyond just using OpenAI for translations. Where are the truly disruptive frontline solutions? Tag them in the comments or reach out if you're working on something exciting in the area – or want to build a startup that makes frontline workers more efficient. PS: The guy in the picture is my deceased father who was enabled to immigrate to Germany thanks to a blue-collar job at a manufacturing company ("MAN"). Without that opportunity at the frontline, I wouldn't be here writing this today – thus I'm also emotionally invested in the area.
