Doctors Without Borders denounces in the strongest possible terms the killing of our colleague in #Gaza. On the night of October 24, during Israeli military operations in Khan Younis, South Gaza, our colleague Hasan Suboh was killed. Aged 41, Hasan had been working with us since 2019. He was married and had 7 children. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones, and with our colleagues in Gaza. This is our eighth colleague killed in #Gaza since 7 October 2023 – and the second in two weeks. Through its war on Gaza, Israel continues to show a fundamental disregard for civilian lives. This must stop now.
I simply cannot comprehend how we allow the media to continue to exist when it fails to do its sole job. The western media has blood on its hands for perpetuating propaganda. How can anyone claim to care about humanity, human rights and justice and continue to debate the genocide, ethnic cleansing, apartheid and illegal settling of stolen land a year later?
"This must stop now."
*Why protesting is more important than ever?* 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 *After 13 months of non-stop genocide, many people have started to question the benefit of protesting while the genocide continues and the killing of innocent civilians doesn't seem to come to a stop. Hence, the numbers in protests have dwindled, and many people hopelessly have stopped attending.* *Unfortunately, this is what the Zionist regime and its Zionist allies in the west have always wanted: for this genocide to become normalized, for people to become desensitized and hopeless, and for people to not see the benefit of protesting anymore.* *So, the question is, what's the point of protesting after 13 months of genocide?* *• Protesting is not only to call out your complicit government and it's support of this genocide. It's also to show God that you care for Palestine, you are doing what you can, and you will leave the rest to him. When God sees that you are trying, nothing could mean more than that.* *• If there was no benefit in protesting but just this one—that people of Gaza see you standing with them and their hearts attain joy and happiness by knowing that people around the world have not forgotten them—
May his memory be a blessing; may peace be upon him ♥️🤲
Our deepest and sincerest condolences for your organization and his family's loss. ❤️
Raise your voice against oppression, atrocities, genocide and tyranny. Palestinians deserve it more than anyone else. Aid workers supporting civilians in this war torn area are "Great People, Risking their Lives for the sake of Humanity". Salute to them.
It’s not merely a “War on Gaza”, it’s a systematic ethnic cleansing.
It’s just heartbreaking and I don’t want to discourage anyone from going but it’s getting bad. However, I will not stop him from doing something he truly believes in. Praying for all the Doctors Without Borders that are still on the battlefield. People have no idea what is really going on.You are true humanitarians who only care for people not politics or race.🙏🏽

1moAppeasement didn’t work in the 1930s with Germany. It won’t work today with Israel. This country, established by bona fide fascists and terrorists, isn’t interested in peace with its neighbours. Einstein himself described PM Begin with those terms. Israel has used our taxes and manipulated our democracies over many generations to effect an ethnic cleansing…. and now a genocide against the Palestinians. Further beyond its borders, many of Israel’s leading politicians increasingly advocate for a greater Israel, demanding territory owned by Syria, Lebanon and Egypt. The parallels with Nazi Germany are not unfair - divine mandates to expand geographical borders, in part by virtue of their ethnic superiority over dehumanized neighbouring people.
