Vaco's recent case study highlights our strategic approach to enhancing a global nonprofit organization’s library management system. After deploying a skilled QA team to meet specific organizational needs, they provided rigorous manual and automation QA testing in different environments, leaning on their extensive coding knowledge in various environments. Key outcomes from the engagement included: -Enhanced functionality of four newly developed features -Improved user experience for both internal and external users -Reduced risk of errors and financial discrepancies in the companies point-of-sale system Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gnbQqGsA #casestudy | #contractstaffing | #ITsolutions | #QAtesting

Had a great time chatting with Adam Sandman on the latest episode of Curiosity Software's Why Didn't You Test That? "Many organisations face the challenge of disentangling complex, interconnected systems—often referred to as a "big ball of mud." Understanding how core services within your organisation fit together is crucial. In terms of conduct risk, for example, customers expecting timely access to their funds, [being able to evidence these flows is] mandated also by [resiliency] requirements. " Listen to the pod to for some insight into the evolution of quality engineering, traceability, auditability, risk-based testing and regulatory compliance: https://hubs.li/Q02HdxGW0 Curiosity Software #EnterpriseTestData #TestData #DataManagement #QualityEngineering #CuriositySoftware #SoftwareTesting #QA #QualityAssurance

Unscripted and Unstoppable: Why Structure Isn’t Everything! In a world full of structured testing methodologies, ad-hoc testing brings a fresh perspective. It’s about exploring software without predefined plans, relying on intuition, experience, and curiosity. 🔍 Think of it as an investigator going off-script to uncover hidden bugs—ones that often slip through formal testing methods. While it may seem unstructured, ad-hoc testing plays a critical role in finding edge cases and improving user experience. When was the last time you discovered a bug that surprised even you? 🎯 #SoftwareTesting #QualityAssurance #AdhocTesting #BugHunting #Tech

Bug-hunting doesn’t have to be a lonely task left for testers to handle solo 🐛 Just last week, we ran into one of those classic “wait, what?” moments in our own software. A red triangle with a broken hint had popped up, and nobody could explain why. It took a developer, a tester, and me to finally untangle it. After some head-scratching, we realized this feature wasn’t covered in our automated tests—and had somehow flown under the radar because no customer had ever touched it before. Pretty soon, the whole team was gathered around, swapping ideas and digging into the code. We finally tracked it back 12 months, to when we switched an internal serialization library from one vendor to another. We’d run all the tests on everything we thought was affected, breaking and fixing features along the way. But this tiny feature—3 lines of code actually, barely a mention in the documentation—had slipped by unnoticed. By the end of the day, we had our answer and, more importantly, a better understanding of how to prevent these “hidden” bugs from catching us off guard again. This was a self-reminder that quality isn’t a solo job, but something we tackle as a team. And that’s exactly why our team developed TestResults.io. We wanted a tool that could handle the repetitive parts of testing automatically, freeing everyone up to focus on the bugs that actually matter. Ever had one of those small-but-elusive bugs rally your team together? Let’s hear your stories about making quality a shared mission. Drop your thoughts below! #BugHunting #TeamEffort #TestResultsio
