And people seem to like them - “An absolute natural you had the whole room engaged from start to finish” 😁 So if you’ve got any events lining up for 2025 and looking for a speaker on all things branding, marketing and creativity, let’s have a chat. My previous talks on marketing have included: • The Chaos Theory of Word of Mouth Marketing • Stepping Into Your Clients’ Shoes • The Art of Business. Secrets from 20 years of Creating Ideas. • From a Brain Haemorrhage To The Broadway I’ve got a few speaking videos on my website if you want to see me in action: https://lnkd.in/e8bR-kf5 DM me about any events you’ve got next year and let’s lock in the date. Oh...and you can expect some expressive faces...🤣

I genuinely love marketing 💯 Personally, what I love about it is that it's COMMUNICATION - connecting, serving and understanding the audience's needs. I know many coaches easily feel overwhelmed by marketing, seeing it as a necessary evil 😅 BUT here's the truth: There's power in communication, and marketing allows you to serve at scale. When you get better at marketing, you also get better at communicating... ... not just with clients, but also with yourself and loved ones. As a coach, it's the most important thing you can do to radically transform your business. And as you focus on delivering real value and addressing your clients' pain points, it becomes an act of service rather than a chore: ✅ You get to share your passion with clients ✅ You get to create meaningful relationships ✅ You get to provide solutions that genuinely help Embrace marketing for your #coachingbusiness with the FREE Zoom event "How To Attract Coaching Clients Consistently" via link in bio at Cham Tang ✨

Need help running your next conference or event? I'd love to talk. Since 2019 I've run and hosted the Mental Health Marketing Conference. We're already planning for 2025 and we're more efficient than ever. During the past five+ years, we've built a playbook for planning, promotion and production. We're especially good at that 2nd P: we build efficient, effective marketing that builds your brand will driving ticket sales and sponsorships. It's a part of the process that can get overlooked if you're not careful. And, it's a huge opportunity to take advantage of the long tail of the experience on either side of the actual event days. It's all bigger than me: we've built a great team and new company: Check out TURN.Productions We have the three Ps: Planning, Promotion, Production And the 3 Bs: Bigger. Better. Bolder. That's how we do it. Want to talk? Email me: [email protected]

When marketing a new product or event, it is important to be clear who your audience is and why your product or event would be of interest. This is where content marketing can help you: attracting, engaging and retaining an audience through the content you share. And there is so much you can do without having to spend any money. This makes things exciting and accessible particularly for small businesses doing more with less. #SME #SmallBusiness #marketing #ContentMarketing #communication
As a small business owner, you may run a marketing campaign and expect a lot to happen. But it’s important to remember that we live in an increasingly noisy and distracted world. Everyone has something to sell. Everyone has something to say. How do we stand out? Remember to use every opportunity you can and review everything with fresh eyes. There is so much that you can do that does not cost a thing. Let’s say that you have launched a new event. Here are some things you can do without spending a cent: 1. Add a cover image that showcases this event as part of your LinkedIn background - use that as your billboard. 2. Add event details (including a link) to your email signature footer. 3. Publish a dedicated event page on your website where you can direct readers. 4. Announce the event through your newsletter. 5. Write about the event on your social media channels. 6. Write articles on topics you address in your event and include a call to action that directs readers to your event page. 7. When provided with a speaking opportunity, briefly mention your event if there is a fit with the topic and audience. 8. Publish a short video introducing your event and clarifying who it is for and why. In short, talk about your event in several ways and talk about it more than once. Be clear about your target audience and why it should matter to them. #marketing #ContentMarketing #communication #trust #authenticity

Reposting to expand the reach of this excellent cheat sheet!
Did you notice? Every marketing team is obsessed with events. That makes it harder to market at events. If you are a field marketer, listen up. The bar is being constantly raised. New activations. Engaging sessions. Budget splurging. Is it all effective, though? I've seen some clients killing it with a sound strategy and a creative concept. The typical winning trait? They know what they want to get out of the event. Once you know your strategy, it's much easier to be effective and bring home those results. On the other hand, if one doesn't focus, 'events don't work' becomes the mantra. I've updated one of my most popular frameworks with recent work we did with some clients. It's incredible to see how many of the items are left behind. Of course, there is more than this. What did I miss? P.S. This is Framework Week. I am publishing a framework every day. If you don’t want to miss my next framework - hit 👍💡❤️👏 or leave your thoughts below.

Half-Ass efforts won't work! Your videos represent your: • Brand • Service • Expertise You won't hit a networking event wearing flip-flops, would you? Likewise, it's not the best practice to be casual while marketing yourself. If you post: - Poor Quality - Unscripted - Unedited Videos out where all your potential clients can see you... What do you think they're gonna assume of your products? Agree?

It took me 4 years of experience to figure out what marketing really is? It's a simple combination of Networking and Storytelling. Good networkers are excellent storytellers & when you know how to tell an engaging story, you know how to sell. We study so many things in college but one thing we have always naturally known from start is"reputation management" and "building our own personal identity" We are human beings and we tend for human emotions. When we attach them to a brand/product, we create a character sketch of that brand- just like building your own transformers or a Barbie. Personal branding plays a huge role in networking and networking plays a big part in marketing. As simple as that. How to sell anything? Look deep inside, what does your brand stand for? It's like the movie "Inside Out" in which human emotions create the core identity of your brand and how they relate to the outside world. A cherry on top for everybody who wants to know deep and easy secrets like "how to sell" and so much more! #Wisdom #Marketing #StoryTelling #Networking #Business #PersonalBranding #Storyofluxe
