Thanksgiving week is always one I look forward to. Firstly, we get to celebrate, have family and friends time, decompress and eat well. Yet for sellers, the break comes during one of the most crucial periods of the year. With only a few weeks remaining once we return to close out pipeline, bring forward some Q1 deals and push to make annual quota attainment, optimizing time and resource to work on the deals you can influence NOW is vital. Had another enriching Complete Sales Academy session with Dwight Braswell, MBA and the sales team at Thumbtack yesterday as we discussed the dynamics and tonality in our conversations. Three main takeaways: ✅ When you end the conversation, have a clear next step ("Let's do this - before our next meeting let's...) ✅Distractions happen. Make a decision on how you are going to handle it ("It sounds like you're busy. I'm here to actually take some stuff off your plate...") ✅ Give space and wait for an answer (awkward silence is okay!) Kudos to this group for always having a great attitude and sharing insightful perspectives. They're crushing it 🔥

There's no better feeling than closing a major deal right before the quarter ends! It's about perseverance, timing, and all those follow-ups eventually paying off, not simply about meeting the quota.
