The Student Who Taught Me About Determination. Years ago, there was a student who commuted over 30 kilometers each day just to attend my classes. He’d arrive on time, with his books ready, his questions were sharp, and his determination visible. It wasn’t an easy journey—balancing school, family, and travel—but he never let it show. One day, I asked him, “What keeps you going, despite all this?” he looked at me and said, “Sir, I’m here to make my family proud.
