Just returned from CEATEC 2024 at Makuhari Messe. It was nothing short of phenomenal! The energy, innovation, and cutting-edge technology on display made my day. With over 800 companies and organizations showcasing their latest advancements, CEATEC showed off why it’s a cornerstone when looking to understand the future of digital tec. The exhibition was spread across a vast area and with multiple themed areas, including AI for All, Partners Park, Next Generation Park, and the Global Park. The sheer diversity, from AI innovations solving social issues to futuristic mobility concepts, was mind-blowing. One of the highlights was speaking to some of the over 180 startups and university research institutions presenting their breakthrough solutions. The 25th-anniversary special project, “AI for All,” brought some exciting new technologies to light, with exhibitors focusing on co-creation and on what life in Society 5.0 will be like. The simultaneously held Japan Mobility Show also hit the nerve. Merging the tech and mobility sectors in ways that is already reshaping industries. It was a perfect space to explore the intersection of IoT, CPS, and the future of mobility. It’s hard to believe this is my fifth trade show and eight event in less than two weeks! Each event has been more exciting than the last, and CEATEC was certainly no exception.
