In October, the TechUPGRADE team, represented by the University of Twente, participated in SolarPACES 2024 in Rome—one of the leading conferences for solar energy and industrial applications. The event brought together around 500 attendees, offering a fantastic opportunity to connect with experts, share insights, and discuss the latest developments in sustainable energy. The Smart battery storage brAIn by FUERGY is now part of the energy infrastructure of one of the most modern foundries in Europe. As a result, Medeko not only optimizes electricity consumption, but now contributes significantly to protecting the environment, as evidenced by 23.3 tons of CO2e emissions saved in the first four months! The project was implemented by the energy supplier Slovenské elektrárne – energetické služby, s.r.o allowing for financing without any investment costs for the customer. Interesting and Absolutely incredible. Whoever conceived this is awesome. So the buoy would be anchored? Near shore or away/mid sea? Where would be the wave intensity high? How do they carry out power transmission?
