Fostering relationships with specialists, organizations, and people who refer patients to your health center is a great way to increase the number of new patients you see. Here are some excellent referral sources to whom you can start educating about your services, reciprocate the referral, and show your appreciation regularly. 🔹 Specialty providers: Like primary care providers, dental and behavioral health providers refer to specialists; specialists can also refer people to your providers. Run a report from your EHR to see who is referring patients to you and send them a token of your appreciation. Or, see who is not currently referring patients to you and ask to give their staff a presentation on the health center's services. 🔸 Church leaders: Church leaders often try to find healthcare services for their members. Bring them lunch and tell them about your services and how you serve people in their communities. 🌟 Human service organizations: Ask to be included on the staff meeting agenda at your local domestic violence shelter, public housing authority, job service, and transitional living facilities, and tell them about your services. Of course, stand behind your word anytime you promote your services to people who are referring you. If you promise they can be seen within a week, ensure that is true. If you tell them you can see new patients, ensure you have enough providers. Want to learn all my proven strategies for attracting 1,000 new patients to your health center year after year? Join me on a free webinar where I'll teach my 4-part framework that I used as the CEO of a federally qualified health center and attracted 1,000 new patients year after year. I want to receive care from a healthcare provider on their best day, not their worst. Yet we continuously ask healthcare providers to do more with less. Not just financial or physical resources but emotional ones too. How can providers pour out quality care from an empty cup? The short answer is they can’t. Not sustainably at least. (Enter the massive healthcare shortage). I want my - Therapist to have mental health resources - Surgeon to have adequate rest - Physical therapist to have breaks to stretch and reset - Primary care provider to have time - Nurse to go to the bathroom when they need What about you? Join Our Mission: Transforming Mental Health Access in Primary Care Hello LinkedIn community, In the midst of a growing mental health care professional shortage, our team at Azie.Ai is committed to creating transformative solutions for Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), particularly for those caring for Medicare or Medicaid patients facing mental health challenges for the first time. Our mission is clear: To equip PCPs with innovative tools that mitigate the risks associated with the lengthy wait times for mental health services—currently averaging 48 days across the U.S. These delays not only exacerbate patient conditions but also lead to increased healthcare costs and operational burdens for providers. We're focusing our efforts on California and Texas but are eager to connect with PCPs and healthcare professionals across the country. While we aim to help all PCPs, our primary target is PCPs involved with risk-based global-cap models, where we believe our solutions can have the most impact. How You Can Help: - Share your experiences or challenges in managing mental health patients within your practice. - Comment below with your insights or interest in innovative mental health care solutions. - Direct message me to schedule a brief 5-minute interview where we can dive deeper into your needs or experiences. - Know someone who could provide valuable insights? Warm introductions are greatly appreciated. What’s in It for You? - Early access to our solutions at a reduced rate, providing a new way to support your patients effectively and efficiently. - A chance to directly influence product development with your insights, ensuring our solutions meet real-world needs. - Potential opportunities to co-author impactful case studies on how technology can bridge the gap in mental health care access. Our goal at Azie.Ai isn't just to innovate but to do so in partnership with the healthcare community, ensuring we address the pressing needs of both PCPs and their patients. Your expertise is crucial to us as we strive to redefine mental health care management in primary care settings. Let's collaborate to make a tangible difference. Thank you for considering this opportunity to drive change together. Please direct message me here if you are interested in contributing insights or learning more about the project. On #WorldMentalHealthDay, healthcare providers reaffirm their commitment to treating behavioral health and physical health as equally important to all patients’ well-being. Year-round, Connecticut’s hospitals and health systems are engaging in community partnerships to develop, establish, and improve wraparound approaches to behavioral healthcare. This year’s global theme calls on employers, governments, and individuals to prioritize behavioral health in the workplace. The frontline jobs of healthcare professionals are extremely demanding. Regardless of the exceptional challenges they face every day, these dedicated workers never compromise the high-quality, compassionate care patients expect and deserve. Connecticut hospitals continue to create new ways to keep their employees healthy and resilient, encouraging personal time off, facilitating team dialogue around stress, investing in education and career advancement, focusing on appreciation, and advancing ongoing efforts to maintain safe environments for staff, visitors, and patients alike. #CaringforCT #MentalIllnessAwarenessWeek #healthcareworkforce

Limited access to interdisciplinary collaboration is a major frustration for professionals supporting neurodivergent individuals. True progress often requires a team approach, where therapists, educators, healthcare providers, and caregivers work together to develop comprehensive strategies. However, this collaboration can be difficult to achieve due to communication barriers, scheduling conflicts, or institutional red tape. When teams aren’t able to coordinate effectively, neurodivergent individuals may receive fragmented care that fails to address their unique needs holistically. For real change to happen, it’s crucial that professionals from different fields come together, sharing their expertise and perspectives and listen to the voice they are supposed to be caring for to create well-rounded, personalized support plans. Building stronger connections across disciplines not only improves outcomes but also reduces the frustration and stress that come with navigating a disjointed system. #InterdisciplinaryCare #TeamworkMatters #HolisticSupport #Neurodiversity #CollaborationForChange"
