As we close Hispanic Heritage Month, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible work of our employee network, HOLA, at Bank of America This year, we had the privilege of hosting a truly inspiring panel discussion on the intersectionality of our heritage and our paths to success. Our panelists—Noel Hernandez SR, Ninoshka SantaCruz-Vargas, Rob DeJesus and Annabel Smith—shared their personal stories and insights, leading to a conversation that was both dynamic and deeply meaningful. The energy in the room was palpable, with thoughtful questions and genuine engagement from everyone present. I’m profoundly grateful to my co-chairs Jessica Baez, CRPC®️ Julián Fiszman, our dedicated advisors Sandra Cofresi, -Phil Smith and our executive sponsors Evelyn Lofton and Tiara Russell for their commitment to elevating Hispanic professionals in Corporate America. A special thank you to Mark Bennett, CTP and the President’s Office for their continued support, which makes efforts like this possible. It’s through this collaboration that we continue to foster a community where every voice is heard and every achievement is celebrated. #HispanicHeritageMonth #InclusionMatters #HOLA #Empowerment #Leadership

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, I’m reminded of the strength, resilience, and passion that the Latinx community embodies. This quote by Judge Sotomayor resonates deeply, not only because it speaks to the pride of embracing one’s cultural roots, but also because it reflects the powerful role that identity plays in both emotional intelligence and inclusivity. 🔹 Emotional Intelligence is about understanding who we are at our core and how our unique experiences shape our interactions with the world. It’s about using the fire within us to navigate challenges, inspire others, and stay true to ourselves. 🔹 Inclusivity goes beyond acknowledging differences—it’s about celebrating the vibrant diversity each person brings to the table. When we create spaces where everyone’s inner ember can shine brightly, we foster a community of mutual respect, empathy, and shared growth. Let’s use this month as a reminder to honor the rich tapestry of cultures that make us who we are and to support each other in blazing our own trails. 🔥 #HispanicHeritageMonth #EmotionalIntelligence #Inclusivity #Leadership #Diversity #LatinaPride #CelebrateCulture

This powerful quote from Juan Felipe Herrera captures the essence of true inclusivity and the strength we draw from our shared humanity. At TSW Wordsmith, LLC, we believe that every voice matters and that our collective experiences enrich the way we work, create, and connect with each other. Just as Herrera’s voice is shaped by many, so is our company’s story—built by the diverse perspectives and contributions of each individual on our team. Embracing Diversity: Our commitment to diversity means more than just representation; it means actively listening, learning, and growing from one another’s experiences. Fostering Inclusivity: We strive to create a space where everyone feels valued and empowered to share their unique perspectives. Because when we amplify each other’s voices, we build a stronger, more innovative community. As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, let’s honor the legacy of those who inspire us to think beyond boundaries and to see our connections. Together, we create a chorus of voices that moves us all forward. #HispanicHeritageMonth #DiversityAndInclusion #EmotionalIntelligence #Leadership #CelebrateCulture #OneVoiceManyStories

These powerful words by Juan Felipe Herrera resonate deeply as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. They remind us that while our unique identities and experiences shape us, we are all interconnected, drawing strength and inspiration from one another. Emotional Intelligence teaches us the importance of recognizing our own voices while acknowledging the collective influence that others have on our perspectives and growth. It’s through this understanding that we cultivate empathy, compassion, and deeper connections. Inclusivity means valuing every voice and recognizing that our strength lies in our diversity. It’s about creating spaces where everyone’s story can be told and heard, where each contribution adds to the rich tapestry of our shared experience. As we honor the contributions of the Latinx community this month, let’s also reflect on the power of unity. Our voices, shaped by diverse backgrounds and experiences, are stronger together. Let’s continue to lift each other up and create a world where everyone’s voice is celebrated. 🔊 #HispanicHeritageMonth #EmotionalIntelligence #Inclusivity #Leadership #Diversity #CelebrateCulture #VoicesUnited

“When we talk about DEI work, it's essential to recognize that it's not the responsibility of a select few—it's a collective effort that involves each and every one of us. Every individual has a role to play in creating and upholding diversity, equity, and inclusion in our communities. We all have the power to contribute positively to our collective journeys and environments. Today, I am turning the spotlight on Abi Adamson “The DEIB Ajagun”🪬 Adamson's “The DEIB Ajagun”🪬 while we have not directly connected, I respect the work of Abi Adamson, the international perspective, and the approach to DEIB work for lasting change. As always, please follow my previous spotlights: Mike Green Gillian Marcelle, PhD L C De Shay Daniel Smith, MBA So who is Abi Adamson “The DEIB Ajagun”🪬? "Abi Adamson is the driving force behind The Diversity Partnership. Quoted as one of the "Stars of Black LinkedIn" by the New York Times, I've made it my mission to reshape the way we approach diversity and inclusion in the workplace and beyond. With a robust academic background focused on decolonising education, race relations and social justice, I'm not just ‘talking the talk’. I'm well-versed in the research and data that underpin the real impact of diversity and inclusion. But here's the thing: I believe in keeping things real, relatable and progressive. Confronting issues like workplace inequities, gender pay gaps or institutional racism can be tough, and I'm not one for pointing fingers. I prefer to sprinkle these discussions with a bit of humour, making the conversations more approachable and less of a lecture. My track record? I've successfully designed and implemented diversity and inclusion strategies for global brands like The Orchard, ustwo and Wise, to name a few. I'm passionate about helping organisations and internal teams build bridges by fostering spaces where everyone feels free to be authentically themselves. People often comment on my down-to-earth, non-corporate approach - apparently, it's a breath of fresh air. I'm all about embracing the journey of learning and growth and I am humbled by the trust clients put in me to help them find answers." https://lnkd.in/gWk6d8aV
