Building a positive relationship with your manager is undoubtedly beneficial. Consistently delivering high-quality work and exceeding expectations are solid strategies for standing out. However, it's crucial to remember that recognition and reward should not come at the expense of an employee's well-being. While a strong work ethic is essential, managers must also ensure that exemplary employees aren’t taken for granted or assigned excessive workloads just because they reliably get the job done. A healthy workplace is built on mutual respect, where accomplishments are acknowledged without burdening top performers unfairly.
