I've written 500+ posts for clients here on LinkedIn, but my own profile? Crickets. Fear of judgment is real, even for the 'experts'. (It’s funny that in public, I don’t care what people think but on social it feels different 🙃) For over a year, I've been the ghost behind successful LinkedIn strategies. It started as a side gig, then the results started rolling in. I've seen firsthand how consistent posting can skyrocket visibility, credibility, and opportunities. I've celebrated with clients as their engagement soared and their businesses grew. And yet, my own LinkedIn has been a ghost land. Why? 4 letters: F-E-A-R That paralyzing voice in my head kept whispering: - "Your network will judge you" - "What if the content is cringe?" - "You'll be seen as just another 'guru'" The irony? I'd never let a client talk themselves down like this. I'd be the first to point out their unique value and encourage them to share their voice. But when it came to my own content? Paralysis. Here's what I've realized (from 500+ published posts): 1. Authenticity resonates more than polished facades. 2. Perfection is the enemy of progress. 3. Your journey IS your expertise. So, I'm taking my own advice… (finally!) I'm stepping out from behind the curtain, imperfections and all. To anyone else hiding their light: Your voice matters. Your experiences are unique. Your insights could be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
At the end of the day → people are too busy on themselves... → nobody will remember what you wrote... → even the experts they sucks sometimes... You've shared what's going on people's heads when it comes to write on here Jacob...
