Today I had the privilege of delivering a body confidence workshop to young people at a primary school in central London, alongside our Dove and Unilever partners, Hein Schumacher and Rebecca Marmot. It was so inspiring and rewarding to see young people engaging with topics like body-confidence, appearance ideals, and stereotypes. The workshop marked an opportunity to reflect on the impact that UNICEF is having through our partnership with Dove, which aims to support young people to become body-confidence and self-esteem champions. The first phase of the partnership reached 16.5 million young people globally, and now in this new phase, we aim to reach 16.4 million young people in India. Thanks to the Dove Self-Esteem Project for hosting today’s brilliant session. #foreverychild

2moWhat an amazing engagement, Mohini! Body confidence and mental health are so closely intertwined—how we feel about our bodies can profoundly impact our self-esteem and overall mental health and well-being. I’d love to explore how we can build on this incredible work to further promote mental health and well-being globally.
