For the third consecutive year, we were a Health Equity sponsor of HLTH USA. A key highlight included a fireside chat with Hamilton Bennett, our Senior Director of Vaccine Access and Partnerships and Dr. Nicole Lurie, CEPI’s Executive Director for Preparedness and Response. The conversation highlighted how partnerships are key to building systems, processes, and innovations for effective, equitable pandemic responses. There really is nothing more rewarding than creating video content for someone that inspires change or brings awareness. And working with TIME to document their Health 100 Summit was no exception. Of course, the perfectionist in me is always thinking how can I improve our work, our methods and drive better results for our clients? So when we do jobs with very large established organizations, I'm always thinking "How can I take what I learned from this and apply it to smaller organizations that need video content but don't have a strategy?" Here's what I learned from working on the TIME Health 100 Summit in NYC that took place just a few days ago. This is for any business owner who is putting together an event and needs it documented: 1. Have a theme that aligns with your goal and stick to it. Ensure the theme is clear, that it is communicated to your team and that everything (branding, merch, furniture, decor) aligns with it. For smaller organizations with smaller budgets, you can still accomplish all of this, even with the bare minimum by ensuring you are intentional with your theme. 2. Spend the money and hire an experienced AV team. Why? Because this is your guest experience. You will be having a program that will require graphics, lights, sound and visuals to be executed perfectly. No, you cannot do it on your own, just hire the professionals. 3. It goes without saying: hire a skilled videographer. Why do I say videographer specifically? Because this is the only way your event will live on after the guests leave and event has concluded. Hire someone that understands your brand and you can coordinate with to have a clear vision of expectations. You will need to showcase the event to future prospects, sponsors and video is the absolute best way to do that. #videography #corporatevideo #corporatevideoproduction #videomarketing

1wVaccine hesitancy is an exceedingly important issue. What aren’t there more people out there that see the enormous harm vaccine hesitancy will do to our world? If that person is you, please comment and better yet, fund our films. So much money is wasted on so many things in this world, but the world urgently, especially now, needs to understand that vaccine hesitancy as the W.H.O. states, “Is a greater threat to humanity than the next disease X.” And this is because if people don’t take vaccines, the next pandemic (and there will be a next one) could kill 100’s of millions of people and put us back in the dark ages. With the new administration, it is clear that nothing will be done to educate about the modern medical miracle of vaccines to prevent disease, in fact it’ll be the opposite, disparagement on a government wide scale. And in the meantime while we await the horror of the next pandemic with lesser vaccine uptake, diphtheria, small pox, polio, measles and a whole host of other diseases mostly wiped off our planet long ago, will come roaring back and may kill us and our children. We need people to stand up and get involved. Here’s a link to an article I wrote about this. Click the photo: https://conta.cc/4ezD6sz
