Have you ever felt like you're talking to a wall? Whether it's in partner meetings, sales calls, or even conversations with your kids, we've all been there. The frustration when the other person just doesn't seem to listen is natural. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧? In my years managing partner relationships, I've learnt this truth: 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞. It has pivoted my success, especially in feedback conversations, big time. Here's the deal—Caring is easy. It is showing that their win is your win. Just last month, I was on this call with a partner, and they felt a bit disinterested. Instead of going on about our agenda, I asked them, "Hey, what's the biggest headache you're dealing with right now?" And, they opened up! Turns out, they were wrestling with a supply chain issue. Nothing to do with our partnership, but it was really messing with their business. So, what did I do? I listened. Really listened. Jotted down some notes. And then I said, "You know what? Let me see and connect you with an expert I know." Made that introduction. A week later? Their problem solved. You should've seen our next call. Night and day difference! They were full of energy, bursting with ideas about how we could work together. One small act of genuine care, and it changed everything. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬. I believe in it because I have seen it. We’re all humans. Before revenue, we seek connection and meaning in our relationships. That’s what showing care establishes. 📢As much as it’s about closing deals or hitting targets; it's about LISTENING and building relationships that last. Here's how I show our partners I care— ➡️ I chat with them regularly - yes, even the grumpy ones! ➡️ I listen to their feedback, wishes, and concerns (no matter how small) ➡️ I make sure their voice is heard within our company ➡️ Most importantly, celebrate wins, no matter how big or small It's like being a caring parent in a business setting. ↳ You listen. ↳ You understand. ↳ You act. The result? ✅ Partners who feel HEARD and VALUED ✅ A stronger, more aligned partnership ✅ A queue of partners willing to collaborate ✅ Insights that drive our business forward This approach isn't just for business. It works in any situation where you need to connect and communicate effectively. It works in sales calls when the other party isn't responding as you'd hoped. It works with your children when you're trying to guide them. 📍So, the next time you're in a challenging conversation, SHOW them you care. 📍What's your experience with partner feedback loops and showing care in professional relationships? #PartnerManagement #Listening #BusinessDevelopment #Communication #Feedback

🌟 A 10-Minute Conversation That Changed How I See Business Partnerships 🌟 The other day, I had one of those conversations that you don’t forget. It was supposed to be a quick 10-minute check-in with one of our long-term partner clients, but it turned into a powerful lesson about *goodwill in business*. After going over the usual updates, he casually said, “You know why we’ve been working together for so long?” Curious, I asked him to explain. “You guys never make it just about the deal. There’s always a genuine effort to understand us, our business, and what we’re trying to accomplish — even when it doesn’t directly benefit you." I paused, reflecting on what he said, and then he hit me with the golden line: "Goodwill is what keeps this partnership going. Not discounts, not flashy promotions, but how you make us feel — knowing you’re genuinely invested in us succeeding." That 10-minute chat completely shifted my perspective. What started as routine updates quickly became a reminder that it’s **trust, respect, and goodwill** that fuel long-lasting partnerships and, in turn, drive a positive and fruitful pipeline. When you focus on building relationships rooted in goodwill: ✅ Trust takes center stage: Your clients and partners know they can rely on you – beyond just business transactions. ✅ Loyalty becomes natural: They don’t feel the need to look elsewhere because the relationship is deeper than just products or services. ✅ Opportunities naturally flow: When people feel valued, they’re more inclined to recommend you, come back for more, and grow with you. 🚀 That 10-minute conversation reminded me of something truly invaluable: Success doesn’t just come from closing deals. It comes from opening doors through goodwill and human connection. So to anyone thinking about long-term growth, remember this: People will remember *how you make them feel* much more than what you sell them. Trust, care, and genuine engagement will deliver a far more positive pipeline than you could ever imagine. I’m grateful for that simple chat — it's a lesson I’m carrying forward. #ClientRelationships #Partnerships #PositivePipeline #Trust #LongTermSuccess #HumanConnection #SalesLeadership

The day I almost missed my Big Break. I remember the one time I was at the meeting and the business owner started asking me about business growth strategies. 𝐈 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 - 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛? They own the business, I’m just here to sell! Yet, a friend offered a simple perspective: “You’re a salesman. When someone asks for your advice, they’re interested in buying”. 𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭. And that’s when I realized I missed out on a great opportunity. Days later a friend mentioned an interview he had with an agency with an offer that was not mature enough. He thought I would be a fit based on my experience. Still uncertain if I could deliver, I agreed to a conversation - it couldn’t hurt, right? And I was so tired of being closer, I needed to find something more. That’s how I met Ben Though I didn’t work with him as a closer, we agreed that I would fix process and management gaps. Fast forward 60 days later I boosted monthly revenue 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 $𝟏𝟎𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 $𝟏𝟒𝟎𝐤 - all without a single sales call. For a fixed fee I part-time trained and managed his team while developing business. Was Ben’s business a strong offer initially? Absolutely not. Typically I wouldn’t close for a business with $10k m/o and ZERO management and leadership. But stepping out of my comfort zone gave me this great opportunity. By positioning myself effectively, I secured 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤. And thanks to the same process - Ethan, with minimal experience, secured a $3k m/o consulting deal, - Jack, makes $7k m/o with a high-ticket offer for a fitness influencer. In today’s job market, with my sales background, I’d prioritize opportunities where my contribution feels valued. Whether through higher commission, system building or managing - I prefer involvement in 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡. The early adopters of trends often reap the benefits, because there is less competition. Businesses making $500k+ m/o have dozens of sales applicants. If you’ve ever felt overlooked, remember: every successful person started as a beginner, learning by doing. And the best offers to close in 2024 are those where you can truly make an impact and foresee future growth. 𝑫𝙤𝒏’𝒕 𝒘𝙖𝒊𝙩 𝙛𝒐𝙧 𝙩𝒉𝙚 “𝒑𝙚𝒓𝙛𝒆𝙘𝒕 𝒃𝙪𝒔𝙞𝒏𝙚𝒔𝙨” - 𝒘𝙤𝒓𝙠 𝙩𝒐 𝒎𝙖𝒌𝙚 𝙤𝒏𝙚.
