If I wanted junior staff with zero understanding of budgets/ project practicalities and no buying influence to contact me so that I could waste time creating speculative proposals that will only be used to benchmark prices... I would: - Focus on creating content for SEO so that they could easily find my company and services through Google. - Connect with junior employees in organisations on LinkedIn - Cold call organisations with no prior contact information / research. 👏 Stop getting excited about benchmarking company initiatives and start generating qualified leads to have decent sales calls and win more business 👏

There were 3 different registers named by different colors. We were given the strict warning not to waste our time on Red File. But I was a naive Marketer fresh out of my B-School so decided to test my skills. I took help from our receptionist/Tele-caller and divided leads among both of us. We both called more than 100+ people from that register only to realise that none of them were useful for us. We both wasted our time. The Red File was named Red File for some reason and it was my duty to respect that very reason. I learned the most important lesson of my life that day. Readymade Leads are of no use. They are all exhausted leads. No point in wasting your time on them. As a Marketer your first job is to create Fresh leads for business development. These are some basics of Sales and Marketing which our Seniors teach us when we enter the Market. These unwritten rules are percolated from generation to generation of Marketers before reaching you. Don't doubt their teachings. #Leads #Data #Sales #Marketing

Reasons why you need to consider having a Client Management System 📍Many Social Media Managers spend a lot of time and money on marketing, branding and advertising to get Clients. Few are spirited enough to invest sufficient resources in developing a client management system. Here are a few more reasons why you should have a Client management system; 📍A Client Management System enables you to understand your client’s needs and what they want before they come to you. 📍The system prepares you to have regular and targeted contact with your clients. 📍Having a Client Management System would not only help you with the organisation of your Client’s data but would also help you work better and achieve better results. 📍The goal of the Client management system is to enhance the business relations with a Client through retention and acquisition. Because this system is all about the client, it helps create successful client relationships. 📍A client management system not only helps you with your client, but also helps with managing vendor connections, coordinating marketing teams and sales activities, and tracking sales performance. Missed a 50B IDR Opportunity: The Cost of Ignoring LinkedIn for the Business. True story. Do you know why 80% of B2B buyers use LinkedIn to make purchasing decisions? Yesterday, I saw that in action. A friend called me in a panic. He needed a rather special electronic product and asked for my help. ASAP, of course. We were on a B2B sourcing mission. We found three potential suppliers. We filled out their online forms and even tried the generic “[email protected]” emails. Guess what? No responses. Time zone differences? Morning came, and my friend was still anxious. This product was crucial for a high-stakes deal, much bigger than 50B. So, I turned to LinkedIn to check the suppliers. Here’s what happened: Supplier #1 & #2: ❌ No activity, no contact info. Even though they were big names. Supplier #3: ✅ Smaller but thriving on LinkedIn. All the contact details were there—email, direct phone number, and a friendly name. If their specs match, they’ll land the deal without having to chase leads. without having to prospect. Ain't life sweet? Finding the right supplier without LinkedIn was like searching for a needle in a haystack. LinkedIn turned that needle into a magnet! The takeaway? I wait for you to write it 😉 Drop your thoughts in the comments! - How has LinkedIn helped you in a pinch? - What’s the best story you’ve experienced? Share your tale below and let’s learn from each other! P.S.: Beyond personal and professional branding, let’s not forget LinkedIn is a powerful business tool. 🌟 Silahkan bisa berkomentar dalam Bahasa Indonesia 🇮🇩. _____________ Happy Tuesday, all the good people!
