The comprehensive data package generated in our research on various aspect shows a result where we are proud to say that our polymer prefilled syringe SCHOTT TOPPAC® freeze can withstand even deep-cold temperatures. Our main conclusions: ● All normal functions of the syringe are maintained even when stored at deep-cold temperatures. ● COC syringes can maintain the Container Closure Integrity down to – 𝟏𝟎𝟎 °𝐂, as the coefficients of thermal expansion of the different syringe components are similar. ● Cross-linked siliconization provides excellent performance for leachable silicone oil quantities and subvisible particles. This reduces the risk of drug interactions and loss of efficacy. ● Plunger movement does not breach the PFS sterile barrier, but understanding the syringe and fill-and-finishing parameters that have an impact helps to control this phenomenon. Good morning everyone In continuation of the previous post In addition to the reasons I mentioned previously, there are other reasons that can lead to disc lamination: 1-Excessive Lubrication: Using an excessive amount of magnesium stearate can reduce the cohesion between the powder molecules, leading to separation of the layers. 2- Irregular granule size variation: The difference in the size of the granules used in the tablet compression process can lead to uneven packing and create weak points inside the tablet, which facilitates separation. 3- Non-homogeneous mixture composition: The heterogeneous mixture may lead to an uneven distribution of active and inactive ingredients, which leads to weak points in the tablet that facilitate the separation of the layers. 4- Entrapped Air in Powder or Granules: The presence of air trapped inside the powder can lead to an increase in air pressure during the pressing process, causing the layers to separate. 5- Defects in the Improper Blending Process: Insufficient or excessive mixing may lead to uneven distribution of ingredients within the powder and granules, which leads to weak cohesion between the particles. 6-Weak Interparticulate Bonding Forces: The forces that bind the powder particles or granules may be weak, whether due to the properties of the powder or a lack of appropriate bonding agents, which leads to separation of the layers. 7- To prevent the occurrence of lamination, it is necessary to conduct careful examinations and analyzes of all stages of the manufacturing process and adjust the standards to suit the nature of the materials and production conditions. #PharmaCeutical #Compression #Compression #tablets #byHazemFathy [email protected]

The condensation reaction between cyanopyridines and 1,2-aminothiols stands out as a particularly favorable nitrile modification strategy that proceeds under biocompatible conditions. Cyanopyridines can be seamlessly incorporated into peptides and proteins through both chemical and biotechnological approaches. Similarly, the selective integration of 1,2-aminothiols into peptides and proteins is achievable, leveraging the uniquely reactive N-terminal cysteine functional group.
