For our english followers | We are at the forefront of innovation with its groundbreaking project in the "Interreg Europe" program: #KnowledgeAnalytics! 🚀 Officially known as "Advanced Analytics for Knowledge Transfer Monitoring and Evaluation", this project is all about bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and real-world applications. 💡 It aims to transfer scientific insights to businesses and society while fostering collaboration between the realms of science and business. 📊 How? By harnessing the power of data analysis tools! 🔍 "KnowledgeAnalytics" recently launched a Call for Best Practices in Knowledge transfer, science, and business cooperation. 🌟The centerpiece of the initiative is the State of the Art report. Titled "Advanced analytics for efficient knowledge transfer: desired status and obstacles delaying its achievement," this report is a game-changer. It'll uncover the challenges faced by each region, guide the selection of best practices, and set the stage for future exchanges of experiences to tackle these challenges head-on. 📈 🤔 Why stop there? 🤔 "KnowledgeAnalytics" is also diving deep into the realm of advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence, big data, and more. These tools have immense potential to enhance public interventions supporting knowledge transfer between science and business. 💡 Recently we met for the first 2 days kick-off meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania. It brought together key stakeholders, including Zita Duchovskienė, Salomėja Vanagienė, Kristina Babelyte-Labanauske, RTTP, prof. dr. Pranciskus Vitta for insightful discussions and networking opportunities. 🤝 📚 Day 1 was jam-packed with sessions covering project objectives, partner activities and best practices. The agenda was brimming with excitement and learning opportunities! Day 2 kicked followed by sessions on project management and coordination. It concluded with study visits and final remarks, leaving everyone inspired and ready to take on the challenges ahead. 🌟 📝 More information and updates on this groundbreaking project can be found on our website ▶️ https://lnkd.in/dm7hTyzF or project website ▶️https://lnkd.in/da-gCw22 Let's unlock the power of knowledge together! 🔓

Administrative work The advantage of having regular meetings (meetups, forum, workshop as applied in IW-SiC) in a strategic topic is that it builds a community and a consortium pool. At some point there is a call that suits the strategic topic. Someone will propose to apply. Starting early will make a proposal stronger. One of my activities via my SME ALMINICA AB is impact and transfer of knowledge. That is an added value in a proposal and Alminica can be partner. If you have an ongoing EU project, I can host a workshop as training and capacity building. I have built that knowhow as transfer of knowledge partner in EU FET Open project SiComb. It resulted in an innovation service that is assessed as ”excellent science innovation” by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) market creation potential indicator framework (Innovation Radar homepage) as having high level of market creation potential. Get in touch if interested to have added value for your project with impact creation and transfer of knowledge.

😀 The #MINDSETproject, led by #ERNACT and funded by the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic, is advancing its understanding of Mission-Oriented Innovation (#MOI) and its impact throughout the NPA region. The Mission Oriented Innovation in the NPA Area Assessment report reviews the state of MOI in Finland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden. 📍 In Finland, recent surveys indicate a clear interest in using MOI approaches for development activities. However, MOI approaches are not often mentioned in Finnish policies or initiatives. Some exceptions include references in the evaluation of the national sustainable development program, the national growth plan, the Research Council of Finland’s evaluation report, and the updated National Roadmap for Research, Development, and Innovation (2021). 👉 Find out more at https://lnkd.in/ddf5tWRm University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute - University of Helsinki Department of Informatics @ Umea university Umeå University Jose Manuel San Emeterio Perez Toni Ryynänen Mikael Söderström Ulf Hedestig Photo by Pihla Liukkonen on Image bank of City of Mikkeli

🌟 Research Visit at Siemens Industry Software, Brasov, Romania🌟 Our visit to Siemens Industry Software in Brasov, Romania, was an enriching experience filled with collaboration and insightful discussions. In addition to presenting our research works and exploring ongoing projects, we delved into the application of AI in power systems. Particularly noteworthy was our discussion on the application of AI within RS2 of DiTartis Project. It is fascinating to witness how AI-based technologies are transforming the landscape of power systems. Our host, Razvan Bocu, provided invaluable insights into this area, further emphasizing Siemens Industry Software's commitment to innovation and pushing the boundaries of technology. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Prof. Miadreza Shafie-khah from the University of Vaasa, Prof. claudia martis from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, and Razvan Bocu, Calin H. and Sabina PRICOPE from Siemens for facilitating this research visit. For those interested, some examples of Siemens Industry Software's current and former RTD projects include VIPER, INHERIT, DILSIMEV, PROJECT PANDA, and IMOCO4E. These projects exemplify Siemens Industry Software's dedication to research and innovation. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such impactful work and look forward to future collaborations. #siemens #collaboration #research #innovation #AI #powersystems #Romania #Finland #science
