Great article on how AI can help resolve the skills gap in your organisation from the Financial Times. Really interesting insight into how companies like Johnson & Johnson, DHL and Bank of America are embracing operational AI. We particularly love Jim Swanson's thoughts "What we’ve found is that one of the best ways to learn about AI is to use AI" This is a big part of our mission at Verodat. A great read about the use of AI in the skills landscape!
📰 I'm quoted in the Financial Times talking about how human decision-making needs to review the safe and appropriate use of AI in the workplace. We at techUK believe that AI tools can be valuable in supporting tasks like connecting employees to learning resources, personalising learning pathways, making training content more accessible, and facilitating self-learning. But high-stakes evaluation and growth decisions are best suited to remain under human supervision - a hybrid approach leverages AI's capabilities while respecting the fundamentally human nature of professional development and growth. We need to ensure the responsible adoption of AI tools in the workplace, especially when used for decision-making, and put human-centric thinking at its heart.
