This article is long but important. While we seem to have a handle on lead nationally, we still have much to learn about global sources of lead contamination. Lead found in applesauce packets at high levels. Good grief!
Stress Recovery Coach for drained, busy Christian professionals who value faith & family, yet work too many hours. Reclaim time. Restore energy. Step toward improved work-life balance & better health. Thrive & flourish!
All too often as a busy leader working long hours, you don't have enough time or energy to get through the day. You find yourself selecting easy and convenient snack-packs or prepared foods instead of real, clean food.
Your body is already under #stress from the workload and lack of breaks and sleep. These food choices just add to the strain. The quick hit of energy from sugar or carbs may give you a momentary lift, but it is not enough to sustain your body. When you are already drained, the blood sugar roller coaster just drops harder, leading you to reach for another source of quick energy.
Additionally, for some people the additives in #ultraprocessedfood can also aggravate the physical and mental symptoms of stress.
Whole, nutrient-dense, minimally processed foods nourish and provide more of what your body needs to maintain itself. These can also be just as easy and convenient as packaged items with a small amount of forethought and prep. Small changes in food choices can help to boost energy naturally. When your body is fueled with better-for-you foods, it also helps improve physical resilience, helping to #reducestress long term.

Ultra-processed food is the exact opposite of real, nutrient-dense food. Evidence clearly demonstrates that whole, nutrient dense, minimally or unprocessed food is the healthiest option for humans. Unfortunately, the modern American has strayed far from that reality. For example, the average American consumers 152 pounds of sugar and 133 pounds of flour each year - which creates the crisis we're now experiencing. As Chairman of the Food Fix Campaign, I’m educating lawmakers on the critical need to fix America’s broken food system and slow the prevalence of chronic disease in our country. Absolutely! Your post highlights a critical issue. It's alarming to see the average consumption of sugar and flour, which contributes significantly to the health crisis we face today. The shift towards ultra-processed foods has indeed distanced us from nutrient-dense, whole foods that are essential for our well-being. It's vital to educate and encourage more people to embrace a diet rich in natural, minimally processed foods. Simple changes, like increasing fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, can make a profound difference in our health. Let's keep spreading awareness and support each other on this journey to better health!

Are you ready to be part of the solution?
As Clancy Harrison shared last week, social stigma and a lack of awareness about food access options means hunger often stays hidden, even to those who are best positioned to help. Addressing this complex food issue requires a collective effort across all sectors.

We can’t get all the nutrients needed from food so supplements help bridge the gap. It also helps when you have a plant enzyme that converts 50 to 90% sugar to fiber to help regulate glucose levels! Message me to see what the heck I am talking about.

Meet 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐚/𝐤/𝐚 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐲𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥. Brilliant, heroic, genuine.
Kelly is the founder of 𝘎𝘭𝘺𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴.𝘤𝘰𝘮 and is on the Board of 𝘔𝘰𝘮𝘴 𝘈𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢. She frequently gets in front of Congress and the regulators to effect positive change. There are few people, if any, who understand more about the effects of harmful chemicals on our food supply than Kelly.
Considering that our lifespans in America are plummeting, this is the most urgent message of our generation. Over 1 billion years' worth of American life cut short in the last 5 years. The numbers are so staggering, it is surreal.
And yet many still support Trump or Biden, the ones who got us here. That is insane. The two party-system's legacy is a crime against humanity.
At 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, we are delivering the most important messages of our time. We are the wide-awake, the non-programmable, and we will explain to all who possess an ounce of curiosity why Bobby Kennedy is the one person who can lead this nation. He has the experience, knowledge, and humanity to unravel the corporate capture that is 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 destroying America. And now he has Nicole Shanahan to form the perfect team for this.
Kelly tells us that you can go to PubMed "𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥, 𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘳-𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧- 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳- 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘖𝘩 𝘔𝘺 𝘎𝘰𝘴𝘩, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨?"
The answer is that they are throwing Americans under a bus, using citizens as lab rats so they can amass power and profit in every way possible.
GMOs are extremely dangerous, but sinister forces who seek to dominate will tell you they are okay to feed the world. We are even spending taxpayer money to support front groups who craft the narrative.
When I was young, six percent of America had a chronic disease.
Today 𝐬𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 do. And most of them have two or more.
Calley Means offers the word for this: genocide. But that's not the worst crime. The worst crime is people standing by and letting it all happen.
