I recently conducted a case study on leveraging social media in the classroom, exploring its potential to enhance student learning and engagement. The results were fascinating - by harnessing social media's power, we can foster collaborative learning, promote digital literacy, and amplify student voices. My research revealed that strategic social media integration can lead to improved academic outcomes, increased student participation, and a more inclusive learning environment. As educators, it's crucial we embrace innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and I'm excited to share my findings with the community! #SocialMediaInEducation #EdTech #InnovativeLearning #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthikers #designthinking

As a father of two incredible children, each day I'm reminded of the boundless curiosity and potential our kids possess. Watching them explore the world with wide-eyed wonder, I can't help but question: Is our current educational system fully equipped to nurture and expand their natural thirst for knowledge? In our rapidly evolving world, traditional teaching methods are being challenged. It's crucial that we adapt and embrace strategies that not only educate but also inspire our next generation. That's why I propose a shift towards a more experiential learning approach, blending technology, nature, and hands-on experiences to create a holistic educational journey. Imagine a curriculum that goes beyond textbooks, where students engage in real-world projects, collaborate with peers across the globe, and apply critical thinking to solve complex problems. An approach where technology isn't just a tool, but a gateway to unlimited resources, allowing children to explore interests at their own pace, guided by their curiosity. Moreover, incorporating outdoor learning can significantly benefit children's mental and physical well-being, grounding educational experiences in the natural world. This methodology isn't just about academic growth, but nurturing empathetic, informed, and resilient individuals. I believe in an educational system that values creativity as much as literacy, and emotional intelligence as much as mathematical skills. Let's advocate for a learning environment that reflects the diversity of human experience, preparing our children not just for tests, but for life. I'm eager to connect with educators, parents, and innovators who share this vision. Let's collaborate to make education a vibrant, enriching journey for our children. Because when we change the way we teach, we change the future. Dr. Charles Tawk Wissam AlHussaini, PhD , F. Jordan Srour I would be immensely grateful for any thoughts, feedback, or guidance you could share on this matter! #InnovativeEducation #ExperientialLearning #FutureOfLearning #ParentingIn2024 #EducationalReform #LearningBeyondClassrooms #HolisticEducation

(2/2) #32Changemaker: Hole-in-the-Wall Experiment ❓Why This Approach Works ❓ Dr. Mitra's findings showed that children in the Hole-in-the-Wall experiments didn’t need step-by-step guidance—they needed access, motivation, and the freedom to explore. Similarly, #32Changemaker educators are encouraged to: ✨Explore Freely: The open-ended design of prompts encourages creativity and problem-solving. ✨Collaborate with Peers: By sharing their discoveries, they learn faster and expand their knowledge. ✨Fail and Iterate: Mistakes become a natural part of the learning journey, fostering resilience. This method not only helps participants develop technical skills but also builds confidence in their ability to tackle challenges independently. 👀A Vision for Education The ultimate goal of #32Changemaker isn’t just to teach educators how to use the mPythonBoard—it’s to ignite a culture of self-directed, curiosity-driven learning in classrooms worldwide. When educators experience the joy of discovery themselves, they become better equipped to create similar opportunities for their students. Just as the Hole-in-the-Wall experiment revealed the untapped potential of children in underserved communities, #32Changemaker shows that educators, too, can thrive in a learning model driven by curiosity and access. 🤝Join the Movement🤝 The success of programs like #32Changemaker proves that with the right tools and minimal intervention, learning can be transformative. As educators continue to innovate and adapt, we must ask ourselves: ✨How can we create more opportunities for curiosity-led discovery in our classrooms?✨ If you’re an educator, innovator, or changemaker, join us on this journey. Let’s build a future where learning is not confined to classrooms but is powered by curiosity, collaboration, and creativity. 🐾Follow the journey of #32Changemaker and discover how curiosity can transform education. Share your thoughts and let us know how you’re sparking change in your own learning spaces! image credit : ResearchGate
