📡 4G vs. 5G Antennas: What's the Difference? 🚀 As we transition into the 5G era, it's essential to understand the key differences between 4G and 5G antennas that are driving next-gen connectivity: ->Frequency Bands: 4G operates mostly on low and mid-band frequencies (up to 2.6 GHz). 5G utilizes a much broader spectrum, including high-frequency millimeter waves (up to 100 GHz), which enables faster data transmission. ->Antenna Design: 4G antennas are larger and bulkier, primarily designed for omnidirectional transmission. 5G antennas, on the other hand, are often smaller, employ massive MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology, and use beamforming to direct signals efficiently to users, improving coverage and capacity. ->Latency & Speed: 4G antennas deliver speeds up to 1 Gbps. Navigating the landscape of network installations, it is impossible to overlook the buzz around 5G.
