Day 34 of the UI Design Challenge #dailyui 📝 Blog Post Today, I worked on designing a blog post UI. I thought that it would be nice to have a space about reading on an e-book platform. So, I designed it to have a warm and friendly feel, while also keeping it clean and simple. Let me know what you think about this design!✏️ #designchallenge #uidesign

It's been a few days since I started to read the "Refactoring UI" book and I learned a lot of new things related to UI from this book. - Don’t invest too much time in detailing in earlier stages of any #UI - Every #Design has some personality - Elements that define a Design’s Personality - Not all elements are equal in #UI and the most important thing is "it's important to stay consistent" in every manner be it a thought of design or process of designing. #day12 of #120daysofdesigning

Not Only in Code Lives a Developer: "Refactoring UI" by Adam Wathan and Steve Schoger. At Seasoned, our team had the opportunity to explore the book Refactoring UI with Daniel Larusso and Felipe Freitag Vargas. Our goal was to become more critical and mindful when creating user interfaces. One of the key lessons was understanding that we don't need to deliver a fully polished UI in the first commit when creating from scratch—it's okay to start simple and iterate. The book also offers valuable tips on the use of color, depth, contrast, typography, and more. This experience took us away from the code for a bit, encouraging us to focus more on design—not just reproducing what was asked, but also thinking about possible improvements. If you're looking to enhance your design skills as a developer, this book is a must-read! #RefactoringUI #design #development #UI #learning #Seasoned

This is something important to take note of about texts. It's majorly for UI designs but also applicable to graphic designs. To ease the cognitive load of reading multi-line text, the text shouldn't be starting from different points else it shouldn't have too many lines. This is why having the text left-aligned or right-aligned (depending on the language) is better than having it center-aligned. #design #dailydesigndose #text
