This is the FIRST thing you should do if you want to be successful on social media. I usually include this as part of the social media strategy and audit part, but you can do it anytime. I'm talking about profile optimization. ⚙ Every client I work with gets a profile optimization ASAP. Why it's so important? 🤔 Because it's the first thing people see when they land on your profile or search for your brand on social media. Call it your online or social business card. 📨 And because of that, your profile, your Bio section or the About Us section should do the heavy lifting for you. How to optimize your profile: ✅ Choose your handles carefully and make sure they're easy to find and branded. Ideally, they're the same as your brand name, but oftentimes the username is already taken so you need to be creative. ✅ If you offer services, state that in your name. It can help you get discovered easily by people who search specific keywords. ✅ Always add a link to your website or Calendly so people can easily check your website, download a freebie, or book a call. ✅ Describe what you do or what you sell within the first sentences of your Bio/About Us section. ✅ Depending on the platform, add contact info so that people can contact you if needed. ✅ Choose profile pictures that either showcase your logo or your face. ✅ If the platform supports banners, carefully design one that hooks your ideal client and explains what you're offering or selling. ✅ Add covers to your videos that help you hook audiences. ✅ Add your location if you're targeting local businesses. The beauty of profile optimization is that you can tweak it every once in a while, test all sorts of framing techniques, and play with your messaging style. Remember that optimization leads to conversions, and that means 💸 💸 💸 . TLDR: Keep your profiles updated, on brand, and optimized for your specific goals. My social media packages include profile optimization as part of the strategy and audit, so if you need some help just DM me. 🤳

Think social media is just for likes and shares? Think again. Done right, it’s one of the most effective ways to drive traffic to your website—and turn that traffic into leads. Use tools like Google Analytics to measure how much traffic comes from social media. Look at what’s working—whether it’s a blog post link, a promotion, or a lead magnet—and double down on those strategies. 📊 Social media isn’t just for engagement; it’s a powerful driver of traffic. Read this if you have a social media account‼️ Dear you, I used to think that the best way to grow a social media account was by engaging on the posts of other people. I used to engage on the posts of everyone and anyone and that made the algorithm to show me more of those posts that were irrelevant to my business. It also showed my posts on the feed of those who did not have any interest in my business neither did they need my services. But this was BEFORE I learnt what I know now. And that is to train the algorithm. But why should you train the algorithm? It's not a pet or a child or …? You see, you help the algorithm to help you grow on social media when you train it. You do this by STRATEGICALLY engaging on the posts of people where your target audience will most likely be found in. This will help your post reach more and more people who are interested in the services you offer and help drive sales and growth. This will also come in handy when running ads as your ads will reach more of the kind of people you have trained the algorithm on. This strategy looks like this! 1. Search for creators whose audience aligns with your ideal audience. 2. Engage on their wall daily 3. Share meaningful comments that establish you as an authority. It truly has been a COMPLETE game changer to getting better results, faster, and with way less issues when it comes to growing your social media accounts. Leverage Facebook Groups for Big Reach and Engagement Are you a small business having trouble reaching your target audience on social media? Not to worry. Facebook Groups may just be the pot of gold for businesses needing ways to build more visibility and drive leads and sales. Why Facebook Groups? * Niche-specific communities: Facebook groups are normally interest-based, hobby-related, or industry-focused. This means you would target people who are highly focused and likely to be interested in your products or services. * Organic Reach-The ability to reach your audience is even higher when you're posting in groups as opposed to traditional Facebook Pages. This means your message has the potential to appear directly in your target audience's news feed without having to pay for an ad. * Trust and Engagement: Group members tend to trust recommendations coming from other members. You can join the discussion and produce valuable content through which you will build relationships and establish your brand as a trustworthy authority. How to Utilize Facebook Groups for Your Business * Identify Relevant Groups: Conduct research and join appropriate groups targeting your audience. Look for groups with active members who are discussing meaningful topics. Add Value: Do not sell your product/service. Educate users with valuable content. Answer frequently asked questions to really add value to the community. Engage with Members. Participate in discussions, like, and comment on other member posts. Build relationships. Run Contests or Giveaways. Give members a reason to join and more importantly, to participate. * Promote your Facebook page. Ask your group members to visit your Facebook Page so you can spread your reach and build your following. Remember, people take time to assemble in a Facebook Group. Be consistent and patient, working to provide value to the community every time they see you. Follow these tips and supercharge your ability to get millions of reach and thousands of engagements even if your Facebook Page has only a few thousand followers.

The only true sign of success for my clients on social media is this (Hint: It’s not likes and followers) Going viral on social media is really fun, but it doesn’t mean your sales will go up. In fact, it might mean the engagement and reach eventually goes down, because the people that engaged with your viral post who then followed you might actually not be your ideal client, meaning they won’t be engaging with your following content, meaning your account will have many ’dead’ unengaged followers, which can really harm your reach over time. Getting lots of likes and comments is fun and cool but if it isn’t reaching your actual target audience, then it’s just for vanity metrics and it’s not helping your business at all. True success on social media is this: 🏆 Knowing who your target audience is and speaking directly to them 🏆 Quality, not quantity, with clear messaging to the right people 🏆 The right people following, engaging, liking and eventually converting to actual sales 🏆 Using SEO-based captions that will help the algorithm show your account to those that need and search for your services 🏆 Having a clear path of the right clients finding you via social media, leading to them signing up to your newsletter or freebie or contacting your directly I’ve recently had two clients tell me the exact journey of clients who found them on Instagram and Linkedin and who ended up buying their services and THAT is what true success is on social media 🏆 It could happen thanks to clear messaging, regular stable presence online, clear use of SEO and hashtags and location, clear paths to freebies and newsletters and how to buy the services. If you don’t have your business path set up, you need to start there and leave social media out of it for now. It won’t help you with sales if you don’t have your shop set up. Remember that social media (when used organically) is FREE and is an incredible tool that we can leverage for our businesses - when used in the right way.
