Blinkit has done more for women’s career than any HR or government initiatives! Monday morning musing while ordering the 3rd delivery for the day. First one was ear buds that the 12 yr old suddenly realised he needed for a science project. It’s just 8am. #Blinkit #workingwomen
Instant convenience like Blinkit and Zepto has undoubtedly helped balance careers and household demands. Constant access to anything we need is shifting to a mindset where every impulse is quickly fulfilled. This can lead to overconsumption, less appreciation for what we already have, and an expectation that everything should come easily. In the long run, it might reduce our patience and resilience, the most essential qualities in daily life.
Minal Srivastava I cannot imagine my world without #Blinkit and #Zepto 7:30 am or be it 1 am. Kids sometimes remember things last minute, with the rising era of fast commerce. Happy moms happy kids all thanks to these super hero apps
I was on my way back las night. It was 12.30 AM and I needed a bread for kids tiffin that was supposed to be packed at 5.30 AM. And they delivered it. So no matter what time it is, these Apps have surely made life easier for working women like us.
What do you mean HR of your own company is useless and government to whom you pay taxes is useless and due to them being useless you have to now pay extra to some start up ? Seems HR and govt and startup all are milkling millions at your expense .
OMG...couldn't agree more and the best part is they are factoring this into demand planning. For eg. recently, my mom needed Sargi2, i ordered through Blinkit, Navratri i couldn't find Uple and fresh flowers, Blinkit came to the rescue. Even Diwali, Lotus flowers were out of stock for Diwali Puja and Blinkit came to the rescue and of course, the last minute rush when you come home from a long day at work at 11 pm and the son asks for Clay as he needs to submit a virus assignment tomorrow is classic. Damned if you do, Damned if you don't at that hour but Blinkit has been a life saver in these situations for working women. :) Thanks Blinkit
So so true. Imagining a world without convenience apps is so inconvenient that cant even think about complaining about their "convenience charges."
Exactly why so many so called intellectuals hate #quickcommerce, because they're not used to paying for the services women have been doing for their families for free. It shows gross lack of empathy for differently abled, the elderly, and women on their part
On a lighter note, I think it also helps kids avoid that feeling of absolute terror that we used to feel when we had to tell our parents post 10 PM - that we needed an outline map of India or a chart paper or XYZ the teacher had asked to bring the next day.
