Hello Nav guyss!! We prepare lot of investor reportings and one of them is solvency II.. Ever wondered why we do so?? WHY DO WE DO!!!! Here is little back story.. First things first- solvency II report is for insurance/ reinsurance companies in EU region to make sure whether investors are protected enough. There are discussions on this directive, framework and what measures to be taken to protect the investors around 20 years before, but there comes 2008 financial crisis where Credit default swap product has significant impact. A large group of investors were effected with investment decisions by insurers.. And then as a quick response to the crisis the complete framework, Solvency II directive was adopted in 2009 which has follow up amendments!!. 🕸️🕸️🕸️
