Mid-Career Crisis: Navigating the Crossroads All those who have started their career in the early 90’s are now in the stage of mid-career. While many of them are at the peak of their assignments and doing great but still a group of people feeling crisis, which is called as mid-career crisis which is a phenomenon where individuals, typically between the ages of 40 and 55, experience feelings of uncertainty, dissatisfaction, and anxiety about their professional lives. This crisis can stem from various factors, including: 1. Stagnation: Feeling undervalued, unchallenged, or stuck in a dead-end job. 2. Burnout: Chronic stress, exhaustion, and depleted motivation. 3. Identity Crisis: Questioning one's purpose, passion, and sense of fulfillment. 4. Fear of Obsolescence: Concerns about being replaced by younger, more tech-savvy professionals. 5. Life Changes: Significant personal events, such as divorce, health issues, or aging parents. True. One of the reason of Mid. Career crisis is self made in most cases suffering with " I Know" syndrome.
