Why Did Zain Iraq Choose Mobile Tornado for Mission-Critical Communications? Recently, Mobile Tornado partnered with Zain Iraq to provide Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) solutions. While I don’t have the exact details of the contract, it’s likely that Zain chose Mobile Tornado for a few key reasons: Cost-Efficiency: PoC operates on existing cellular networks (3G/4G/5G), reducing the need for new infrastructure. Fast Deployment: Cloud-based systems like Mobile Tornado’s can be deployed much quicker than traditional radio networks. Device Flexibility: PoC works on smartphones and rugged devices, giving Zain Iraq’s clients the ability to use their own devices. Expanded Coverage: With cellular integration, the coverage is much broader compared to traditional TETRA or DMR systems. Enhanced Features: Instant voice, video, and data communications are critical for industries like oil and gas or public safety. These factors might explain why Zain Iraq chose Mobile Tornado over competitors like Hytera or Motorola, but there could be other reasons, too. 💬 What do you think?
