As Cygnati also provides recruitment services, I have a thorough understanding and knowledge about the latest trends in the labor market. I have repeatedly put together teams of different IT specialists at short notice, making quick substitutions and rotations. Our core team consists of high-qualified proffecionals in IT development and Wi-Fi integration. And 7 years ago they took office as juniors. Working with such people is a really special privilege. Today there are many talented young people and switchers on the Ukrainian market who are looking to start working tomorrow. What they often lack is the self-confidence that only comes with experience. But you have to get it first. Chances of getting a job increase with good English, regardless of the position you apply for. Experience or additional qualities, for example, if you have previously worked in the IT industry in a non-technical role. Readiness to consider less popular specializations that are slower and harder to access. Here are my TOP 5 TIPS for getting started: 🌱 Update and develop your skills 🌱 Build up a strong professional brand. 🌱 Build networks. If you really enjoy what you do and you're on fire. People will sense that and opportunities will come. 🌱 Search for work placements and traineeships. 🌱 Pay attention to the culture of the company so that your values are in line and are not limited to the motivation of the salary. IT has always been a dynamic industry where you have to constantly retrain and adapt to change, so the key is to never give up on your thrue goal! #it #recruiting #recruiter #hiring #cygnati

I far remember in June, #LinkedIn family, shared about an Entreprise and Employment Fair I attended with Samuel Boateng Osei - The Billionaire. And shared here on the topic on reskilling and upskilling explained by Mr. Yaw Frimpong Tenkorang , one of the spakers at the fair. Let's revisit what reskilling and upskilling is again. Reskiling involves learning new skills or teaching workers new capabilities to enhance their existing roles. Whilst eskilling, on the other hand, entails acquiring new skills to transition into a different job role or training individuals for alternative roles. In the corporate world, I work as a Admin Assistant for a Transport company apart from being a freelance journalist, a Public speaker/Storyteller and a content creator. Well #LinkedIn family, in June last month, I got prompted from being an admin assistant to now an HR Assistant to the HR Manager of the Transport company. I was happy about the promotion at first because it meant that the company recognizes my performance at work. Though I have some few skills and understanding of the role of an HR Assistant, I got confused🤔 about my career path now. But I remembered Mr. Tenkorang said back at the seminar pertaining to acquiring other skills in other areas which may be different from what you learnt in school based on where God is taking or opportunities ahead of you. After, I took in this new role, I've done my thorough research about HR Assistant and I've began applying it step by step. And I thank God😇🙏 for my supportive HR manager for her support in my growth. If I lack understanding about something or I make a mistake , she takes her time to correct me so I repeat it again. So far, everything has been goingon well😊👌. So this will come under upskilling. But I want to share something pertaining to signs to show that some job seekers don't prepare adequately before coming for an interview the solution to that. During one interview session I sat in, I noticed that some the participants didn't dress properly because they thought the job they were vying for wasn't a professional job. Some even wore slippers and a scaff😶. It's important to look a formal or dress neatly and decently for an interview. Also, some had no idea about what the role they were vying for and did no proper research about the company. Before coming for an interview, make it a point to prepare and have information about the role you are vying for and the history/ information about the organization you want to work with. Don't just go to an interview casually without an proper preparation. It won't end you well🫵. To conclude, one thing my boss said to me is that it's important to always be acquiring new skills and building yourslef up. An opportunity may come, and becuase you prepared, you will be the one to be given that opportunity. So never stop learning, acquiring new skills and being authentically you. #ReskillingandUpskilling #Growthmentality #Growthmeetsopportunities

#FreshGraduate in Tokyo may get up to 2 million yen as "congratulatory incentive"! https://lnkd.in/gc4RUUWF reports that 👉 As fresh graduates continue to enjoy a "seller's market" and corporate competition for human resources intensifies, a number of companies are giving out similar incentives ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of yen (roughly $130 to $3,200) to new or mid-career hires, yet a 2-million-yen incentive is quite uncommon. 👉 The Japanese government estimates that the country may face a shortage of 360,000 IT professionals in 2025 due to the rising demand for such personnel and the dwindling population, among other factors. From Fresh Grad to HR Executive: How You Can Excel in Your First Interview 👩🎓 👨🎓 Nine months ago, I was in the same position many fresh grads are now. Nervous, excited, and unsure of what to expect in my first interview. Now, having sat on both sides of the interview table as an HR Executive at The Flexi Group/ Common Ground Coworking Malaysia I’ve learned a few key things that can make a difference. Here's what I've observed and what I wish I knew back then: 1. Research the Company 🔎 It may sound obvious, but the amount of detail you gather will set you apart. Know the company's mission, values, and recent milestones. Show that you're genuinely interested and can see yourself contributing to their goals. 2.Highlight Transferable Skills ⚒ Even without much job experience, your university projects, internships, and extracurriculars showcase valuable skills. Problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership are often more important than specific technical knowledge. 3. Personalize Your Resume and Answers 📝 Each job is different, so your approach should be too. Instead of using the same answers for every interview, take time to adjust your resume and responses. Focus on how your skills and experiences match what the job needs. 4. Ask Thoughtful Questions 👩💼 👨💼 Interviews work both ways. This is your chance to ask smart questions about the team, the challenges of the job, or opportunities to grow. It shows you're thinking ahead and are serious about finding the right job for you. 5. Stay Confident but Humble 🙏 You may not have all the answers, and that’s okay. What's more important is how you approach uncertainty. Show that you're eager to learn and grow. A positive, coachable attitude can be a game-changer! Remember, your first interview isn’t just about landing a job; it’s about presenting yourself as someone who’s ready to learn, contribute, and grow. You’ve got this! 🌸 #FreshGradTips #HRAdvice #InterviewSuccess #CareerGrowth #JobSearch

Yesterday, Shavkat Karimov asked a crucial question about the biggest challenges our youth faces today. The unanimous response in the chat was about the unrealistic requirements for entry-level positions or internships. Although my audience isn't huge, I feel compelled to speak up for myself, brothers and sisters struggling to find jobs due to these absurd "3 years of experience" demands for entry-level roles. 😤 It's ridiculous that companies aren't willing to invest time, and resources in training interns or juniors. In Uzbekistan, you can count the true "Seniors" on one hand. Just because someone holds that title in a small, local company doesn't mean they possess actual senior-level skills. If you search for any entry-level vacancy, you'll see the requirements often demand at least 2 years of experience. It's crazy how recruiters or HR managers, or WHOEVER writes these requirements, don't understand the meaning of "entry-level". So, what do we end up with? Companies that should be competing for new talent in a country brimming with skilled juniors don't want to invest in future employees but expect "Seniors" in return. It's like wanting to buy an apartment in Zurich but expecting to pay the price of one in Tashkent. Dumb, isn't it? I really want to hear what recruiters or CEOs think about this. 🤔
