Leaders: what are your alumni saying? Whatever it is, it is bi-modal. There are individuals—who, if they put as much passion and energy into their work, as they did their exit rant—they may still have a job. Don't argue with these folks, but collect the themes from these negative responses. There's gold somewhere in those rants. Also don't forget to pay attention to the happy alumni, those whose lives you have significantly altered for the better—your champions. This is also gold. I’ve talked about this before, but knowing what your alumni think about the company gives great insight into what could be changed vs. what needs to stay the same. Is it a culture problem? What can I fix today, and what needs to change down the road? #google #leadership #predictiveindex
