56 days from now, Cisco Live EMEA will be in full swing in Amsterdam! I am so excited for the new BRKSEC-2227 "Evaluating and Improving Defenses with MITRE ATT&CK" - we're talking all new tools, demos, scary stories, and corny dad jokes. Working through this new content and telling a fun yet useful story is the aim, and I am hoping that I get a lot of feedback. If you plan on being in Amsterdam, by all means come and check the session out! To register for this Monday, 11 February 4 PM session, visit https://lnkd.in/g2CHdTHr. What else in on the agenda for me? - I will also be doing a lot of Meet-The-Engineer sessions, and would love to continue the conversation 1-on-1 with anyone in attendance. - The Capture The Flag area will be hopping, and with all of the Security Track missions that Bruno Fagioli and Jason Beltrame have helped organize with a team of authors, it is sure to be a highlight! - There are always cool sessions I am looking forward to. This year, Darrin Miller's session on SGTs, Jeff Fanelli's session on SD-WAN, and a refresher on Authentication from Aaron Woland and Josh Green are some of the sessions I have favorited. And I am picking through my Cloud options - there is a ton of enablement here folks! Oh, and I plan on spending good time with friends, finding some good food and brews, and enjoying Amsterdam again. See you all soon!

This was my fifth Cisco Live and I think I finally cracked the code on maximizing my time there. 1. Be intentional with your time. This might seem obvious but it's very easy to lose track of time with everything to do. But if you set limits for yourself and schedule multiple opportunities you will be able to get everything done and not feel like you're missing out. For example, I gave myself a dedicated 2 hours in the WoS everyday. 2. Fill those schedules up with sessions. I made sure I had my schedule packed full of sessions that I wanted to attend. Sometimes I didn't make it to a session due to a great conversation, or just plain needing to grab something to eat, but having the option to attend a session was much better than not. 3. BE SOCIAL. I can't stress this enough. I'm an introvert, and if you had met me this week you might not have guessed that. The people who attend CiscoLive are our kind of people. They get you, they get excited by what gets you excited, and have the same troubles and hardships you do every single day. You won't find any other place in the world with more like minded people. This is a networking nerd's safe space. Be brave, say hi. No one there bites. 4. Be curious and humble. At Cisco Live, you're surrounded by experts. Not just from Cisco, but from all over the US and abroad. Keep your ego at the door and try to learn as much as you can from everyone you meet. I've learned a ton this week from strangers sitting next to me at lunch. 5. Lastly, don't forget to have fun. Be genuine, be excited, and let yourself feel like a kid at camp again. If you're already planning for Cisco Live next year, let me know in the comments! What are you going to do differently?

Now for some good news about something that happened already before everybody’s summer vacation and GSX and all that: Cisco has certified FRINK as an "Advisor" in their Partner Ecosystem based on our User Adoption and Industry expertise. Pretty cool, eh?… … wait, that's not all: FRINK now holds the entire quartet of Cisco Partner Roles: Reseller, Developer, Provider and Advisor! Pretty darn cool, right?… … wait, that doesn't really describe it. "unique" is more suitable, because as far as we know we are the FIRST and ONLY partner who has achieved this so far. But please don't take our word for that, because we are just a small boutique Collab partner from Austria. Let's ask Rodney Clark and José Van Dijk , shall we? In any case, thanks are at order: Michel GASPARD, Hana Pařízková, Dirk Boghe, Helmut Rauscha, Michael Salat, Andreas Soumelidis, Anna Malovana, August Sarkany, Sima Shamsai and her entire Collab team, and all our Collab and CX friends globally! #collaborationdesignedforhumans #ciscocollab #webex #useradoption #customerexperience #futureproofworkplace #ciscopartnerprogram
