Sometimes You Find Yourself Feeling Sad about a Donkey's Loneliness.
(unmute, please) Watching this donkey approach the wall drawings, believing them to be real friends, was touching. What truly moved me was when it picked a dandelion from between the pavement stones and tried to share it with its 'new friends.' The innocence and pure-hearted nature of animals remind us of their immense capacity for love and kindness. However, the moment it realized they weren't real and walked away in sadness broke my heart. Animals truly have the most profound hearts and souls.

Silent & a safe haven, we often find stray dogs & cats under our cars. Weirdly sometimes, you often find a cat sneaking into the engine section of your car.
As a species with the highest level of intelligence, being a car owner, lLook below your car. There might be a stray animal sleeping, nestled in the warmth of the engine compartment, or seeking shelter from the elements. These vulnerable creatures often find refuge in unexpected places, especially during colder months or harsh weather.
A glance underneath can reveal a hidden world of life, reminding us of the importance of compassion and awareness. Before starting your engine, take a moment to check for any furry friends who may have sought a cozy spot.
A simple act of kindness can save a life and foster a deeper connection with the animals around us.

ROP (Return on Potential) is my favorite acronym although I’m an MD, PhD, MBA, CFA & a bunch of other acronyms people think matters. 4x’ing ROP @ Harvard, MIT, & Stanford & Founder/CEO of a multibillion dollar VC firm.
Remarkably, this is really true…
14 years after losing contact with his elephant friends, this guy was able to summon them back.
Elephants 🐘 do have a phenomenal memory, but not just for anything.
They remember generosity, compassion, love, and kindness.
This goes not just for elephants- we see this in dogs 🐕, lions 🦁, tigers 🐯, and countless other animals.
So, here’s the deal - our little acts of kindness and gratitude aren’t so little after all - they can change us (and even our elephant friends) for a lifetime.
🧭 Here’s our opportunity- What little thing can we do today to make a huge (elephant scale) difference!? 💭
**Article:**
When instincts meet compassion, miracles happen. A mother deer recently demonstrated the incredible power of maternal love. When her fawn became trapped, the mother ventured into a busy path, signaling for help. Her bravery was evident as she risked stepping into unfamiliar territory, trusting humans to assist her baby. A compassionate passerby recognized her distress and quickly freed the fawn, showing how a single act of kindness can change lives. In the wild, a mother’s love is unmatched, and this courageous moment is a reminder of how compassion can unite humans and animals for a greater good.
**Captions:**
1. A mother’s love knows no bounds. Watch this brave deer seek help for her trapped fawn.
2. Sometimes, trust and compassion are all we need to create miracles.
3. Witness a miracle in the wild where instinct and kindness meet.
4. A mother’s plea for help changed everything for this little fawn.
5. This mother’s courage reminds us that love and compassion can overcome any obstacle.

Scientists still can't explain it, but remarkable stories defy conventional wisdom. When we show kindness and care, even the most unlikely relationships thrive.
Consider this: lions, typically feared, can become loyal companions when treated with love and respect.
Or this astonishing reunion: 14 years after losing contact, a man summons his elephant friends back – a testament to their phenomenal memory for generosity, compassion, and kindness.
It's not just elephants; dogs, lions, tigers, and countless other animals respond similarly.
The truth is: our small acts of kindness and gratitude aren't small at all. They can transform lives – human and animal alike – forever.
Today's opportunity: What one small act can you do to make a huge difference?

Latest on The Wilder Path: How to Say Goodbye to the Canine Soulmate. I read a book a long time ago that said we’re born into the same circle of souls throughout time, and once in a great while those souls find their way into the bodies of animals. We don’t always find the souls in our circle with the right timing in a given lifetime. But sometimes we get lucky.
Read more on what our dogs teach us - about love, loss, and how to say goodbye:
🌈 Greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by how it treats its animals.
📝 Animals, especially pets, teach us important lessons:
- Living in the moment, and
- Offering unconditional love
While asking for little in return, just care and affection.
In this video, a dog owner prints a cherished memory of his sick dog, demonstrating the power of love and respect for all living beings.
It’s a touching reminder of how much animals bring to our lives and the deep bonds we form with them.
These moments show the deep connection we share with animals, built on:
- Trust
- Loyalty, and
- Empathy, the qualities we can all apply to our relationships with others.
🎯 Few key takeaways:
→ Compassion isn’t limited to humans, it extends to all beings.
→ Time with loved ones, human or animal, is precious and should be valued.
→ Treating all living beings with dignity creates a kinder, more inclusive world.
→ The love and respect we show to animals should reflect how we treat others.
→ Emotional connections, especially with pets, can be healing and bring comfort into our lives.
Small moments like these create lasting memories and leave a positive impact.

Regular business day in the wild.. The beauty of nature.
Both fought for survival while one might feel bad for the antelope that was about to be eaten and the same goes for the lioness.
🎯 Great resilience from both animals.
Can't believe he managed to get away, so happy for it but sad a mother got to go home empty handed without a meal.
Felt bad for that poor mountain lioness, they are already endangered due to habitat loss and by humans, maybe it had cubs to feed too..
This life is filled with different perspectives and just depends on which POV you are looking from. And I think that last hoof to the chest was personal. 😂
I was rooting for the underdog and prey.
Throughout the video, my anxiety => 📈📈📈 😂

🌀''We often talk about Mother Nature as if it is really our mother—a being that deliberately nurtures us and has our best interests at heart. But it isn’t, and doesn’t. Nature, including the climate, is a wondrous background that gives us the potential for an amazing life—if we transform it.''🔥_(Alex J. Epstein, The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels)
