Next month, we will begin ice cream production at our new manufacturing facility in Decatur, Illinois. It’s Tillamook’s first owned and operated manufacturing facility in this part of the country, and it is incredibly important to us that this new plant stays true to our values as we expand to meet the growing demand for Tillamook in the eastern U.S.  The Decatur community has given us such a warm welcome, and we’re excited about delivering on our commitment to being good neighbors to them.  This new plant has undergone a huge transformation. It recently got a fresh coat of paint and now proudly displays our Tillamook logo – a reminder to all those driving up and down MLK Jr. Drive that we’re proud to join the Decatur community.   We appreciate all of the hard work of our employees and partners that have made this a reality!

I recently visited the Creamery in Tillamook Oregon while I was crabbing out in Nehalem Bay. It was my first time being in that part of the country. The creamery in Tillamook was a great way to educate non-ag folks and showcase your products. Living and farming near Decatur IL, we rarely see Tillamook products on the store shelves. Hopefully, this new facility means we will see Tillamook Ice Cream available in stores soon.

Congradulations.  What a smart move. I always enjoyed filling the truck from Decatur to Wisconsin under the old Company. When they closed my Camelot Plant I was sad as thel Decatur People were the Finest and hardworking people. Hope you can hire some back. You wont have to worry about freight. If you could recruit that farm girl that ran the place you d really move forward. The shipping people were very timely. They never messed up orders and came thru on emergencies. Happy that. Good Moral Compayay got in there and restored the Plant for all the right reasons. Merry Christmas

Exciting news! Congrats on the new facility and commitment to the Decatur community—here's to sweet success ahead!

How exciting for Tillamook! Is the German Chocolate cake flavor going to be available soon? I keep on looking for it at Winco.

Love what this does for the Decatur community and happy to see a solid company come into that town.

Working my final 25 year sales position in Seattle and Anchorage lent me the privilege of buying all Tillamook products. Upon retiring on the family farm south of Chicago- I was saddened to have to replace Tillamook. This is great news for Midwest folks!

I had an Aunt and Uncle who operated a dairy farm that supplied the Tillamook Cheese factory. Still have a few cousins out there in Tillamook.

I gotta say, hard to beat that Tillamook, OR location, and I'll never forget the first time I passed that facility on my way to Cannon Beach. Straight out of a dream! That said, I'm sure you'll be a big hit in Decatur, and best of luck!
